David Thompson is one of the pre-made carpool drivers in The Sims 2 who resides in Pleasantview and custom neighborhoods. The other two carpool drivers are Celeste Rossi and Amber Hiatt. David is the most common carpool driver of the three. Like all carpool drivers, he can't be made playable without cheats.

David's first name comes from the name of his voice actor David Boat. When he appears in custom neighborhoods, his personality, interests and skills will be different from the ones he has in Pleasantview, seen below.

David has the same facial structure as Komei Tellerman. He can easily be cloned in Create a Sim with debugging mode on. Often going unnoticed, David has 24 personality points instead of the usual 25.
