Derek Vijayakar is one of the pre-made paper deliverers in The Sims 2. He resides in Pleasantview and custom neighborhoods. The other two paper deliverers are Amy Jones and Alon Livingston. Derek can be made playable by befriending him and sending him to college[TS2:U], or aging him up with another teenager if FreeTime is installed.
Another paper boy from Riverblossom Hills looks exactly like him, except that Derek's eyebrows are softer. When Derek appears in custom neighborhoods, his personality, interests and skills will be different from the ones he has in Pleasantview, seen below.
He has the same facial structure as David Thompson and Komei Tellerman.
