Crystal Curious (née Vu) is a playable resident in my player stories in The Sims 2 in Strangetown. She is the wife of Lazlo Curious. Crystal started off as a regular townie, who rose to prominence in my player stories due to the crush that Lazlo has on her. Crystal is voiced by Gerri Lawlor and is 29 days from being an elder.

For quite some time I was unaware of Lazlo's crush on Crystal. When the crush was discovered I guessed correctly that it had existed since the start of the game as I was unable to recall ever starting their relationship - in fact Crystal hadn't appeared in my player stories until I'd decided to make Lazlo and her start a romantic relationship which led to their marriage.

Despite their usually low chemistry, I had no trouble in making Lazlo and Crystal have a happy marriage and successful wedding. Crystal was originally employed in the Service career but I made her resign for a job in the Medical career as it fitted her aspiration better.

Trivia

• Crystal's interests displayed here are not considered canonical outside my fanon. Her interests are randomised at the start of the game and she has no default interests when viewing the package files.
• Ironically despite her career, Crystal isn't very interested in health in my game.
• Even though it says in her biography that Lazlo was the only Sim she had a relationship with at the start of the game, she was also acquainted with Vidcund. I didn't notice that Crystal was also acquaintances with Vidcund before writing her biography.
• Despite being a Fortune Sim, Crystal has several qualities that one would expect of a Knowledge, Pleasure, or possibly even a Popularity Sim. I will give her the Knowledge secondary aspiration, once I have installed FreeTime.
