Dana Grunt is the youngest child of Ripp and Ophelia Grunt. She lives with her parents and her twin sister Gertrude in Strangetown.

Her grandparents are General Buzz and Lyla Grunt, and Creon and Willow Nigmos. Tank and Buck Grunt are her uncles. She has four cousins, Natasha and Brick Grunt through her Uncle Tank, and James and Buchanan Grunt through her Uncle Buck.
