Ian is the son of Gregory and Helena Pleasant. He is the oldest of three siblings, the other two being Drake Pleasant and Marilyn Pleasant. He is very rich and has always been particularly close with his sister Marilyn.
Ian is best friends with his sister Marilyn and wife Isadora, good friends with his brother Drake, both parents, and his children. He is also distant friends with his nephew Michael Pleasant. As a child, he always had an interest in reading and fishing, and thus has a fantastic aquarium and goes fishing regularly. He met his wife Isadora as a teenager and they married shortly after Isadora, the younger of the two, aged into a young adult. He dearly loves his wife and would do anything for her, while his kids are just as important. He is very content with life and is willing to do anything for someone in need. While he is scared of his son's powers, he is growing to accept them much in the same way he had to accept his father's powers. Because of this, he has a closer relationship with his daughter.
