Jacqueline Simmons was born in 1955 to Frances and Elijah Simmons, two working-class members of society. The Simmons were told throughout their history that they were scum. At school, Jacqueline excelled in organisation and writing skill, when she was 15, she read an article about a rich woman looking for help.
Despite being 15, Jacqueline was given the job as a personal assistant for Carlotta Gabore. Frances and Elijah were not happy about how much time Jacqueline was spending with Carlotta. Carlotta personally spoke to Frances and Elijah that she would never try and take her daughter away from them so long as she was a child. At age 26, Jacqueline moved in with Carlotta permanently, Jacqueline was being paid a very large amount of money, Jacqueline sent half of her earnings back to Elijah and Frances.
In 2009, Jacqueline was approached by a leading journalist named Keith Lapter who began flirting with Jacqueline at a social party. The two began a relationship, Keith offered Jacqueline sixty-thousand simoleons to tell Keith all of Carlotta's business secrets. Jacqueline smiled and told Keith that she knew where her loyalties laid, and would never go against Carlotta ever.
After decades of impressive business, 2017 saw numbers started to decline, people were buying pre-prepared meals, hardly anyone was cooking anymore. Carlotta had a tip-off from one of her old friends that a new city had opened up, it was very old-fashioned, and needed something new. Carlotta told Jacqueline this, and told her to pack and get ready to move as they were going to start a new business in Riverview.
