The Parker family is a large family that resides in Willow Creek. The immediate family originally consists of patriarch, James Parker, his wife, Joanna, and their four children, Jared and Jacob the Twins, Julia, and Jenna. Joanna's younger sister, Jackie Rose, also lives with them.
They currently live in the Potters Splay lot of Courtyard Lane. Their house is two stories tall with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a basement, and a pool. As such, there is not much more room for anymore else, but James and Joanna are able to construct a fifth room for their fifth child, Jordan.
Family History
Background
Not much background is known about the Parker family. Although, based on their name, the family seems to be of either English or French origin. The only thing that is known about the Parkers is the common inheritence of orange-red hair and green eyes.
The Sims 4
At this point, James marries his longtime sweetheart, Joanna Rose, and they move to the Potters Splay on Courtyard Lane in Willow Creek. James begins working in the Business career while Joanna is an aspiring Writer. They eventually have four children. The two oldest children are twin sons, Jared and Jacob, with Jared being the older twin. Jared is very masculine as well as athletic. His twin, Jacob seems to be struggling with his sexual identity and leans more towards the feminine side. The next oldest is James's and Joanna's first daughter, Julia. She is described as being a naive but also always ecstatic. The youngest child is another daughter, Jenna and it is implied that she is learning her skills quickly. Joanna's younger sister, Jackie Rose, also moves in to help out with taking care of the children. Jackie also hopes that there won't be any more children to take care of, according to the description.
It's not too long after Jackie's moving in that Joanna realizes she's become pregnant again with her fifth child. While she has told her husband, she has yet to tell the rest of her family. The first person Joanna tells about her pregnancy is her neighbor and friend, Sage Cagle, as well as her nervousness about telling her family, especially her sister Jackie. Sage advises Joanna to tell her family and let the events play out. Joanna decides to take Sage's advice. She tells her family and they all react happily. Jackie even tells Joanna that she was joking about not wanting any more children to raise.
As the baby grows inside of Joanna, the other members of the family continue to grow as well. James works hard at filling out his daily reports by starting them when he gets home then finishing them when he wakes up the next morning. His hard work finally pays off when he is promoted from a Mailroom Technician to an Office Assistant. James celebrates his promotion by inviting over Riley Cagle, Sage's husband, for a round of video games. Jenna continues to develop fast on her skills. The most notable being able to use the potty without supervision. Jared, Jacob, and Jenna all start school at the same time where they begin to meet new people their age.
With the baby's due date quickly approaching, Jackie begins taking care of Jenna a little more during the evening. Joanna decides to take maternity leave a little early after she enters her final trimester. But as she is teaching Jenna to talk and have better thinking, Joanna is unknowingly listening to alternative music. She also realizes that there won't be any room for the baby. James fixes that quickly by having a nursery be built right next to their bedroom and right over the first story bathroom.
Suspecting that Joanna is about to give birth the next morning, James decides to take advantage of his family leave as well. Jackie also takes a day off from work just in case to help out. Then, just as Jared, Jacob, and Julia leave for school, Joanna goes into labor. James orders his children off to school so he can take Joanna to the hospital while Jackie looks after Jenna. It takes Joanna an hour to be processed at the hospital before their doctor, Imane Gherda, begins the delivery process. Although, the delivery didn't go very smooth because Dr. Gherda didn't know how to properly work the machine. In the end, Joanna is able to successfully give birth to a baby boy. They name their new son Jordan. While most of the family is happy about the new addition, Jenna is only saddened by it. James and Jackie cheer her up by playing and reading with her respectively.
The next day, James takes another day of family leave so Joanna can return to work herself. James takes care of Jenna and Jordan for the day. He spends it making sure Jordan is happy, teaching Jenna to have better communication and thinking skills, reading her to sleep when she gets tired, and finally cooking the family some grilled cheese for dinner. Joanna also returns home from her first day back at work. She reveals that she was offered a promotion to become a Blogger, but she turned it down because she wants to become a Stay-at-Home mother. James and Jackie say they fully support her and Jackie says she'll help provide for the family if it ever becomes desperate. That same day, Jacob invites over his new friend Karissa Gallagher where he trusts her with his biggest secret, that he identifies as a woman but no one in his family knows about it.
On Joanna's first day as a stay-at-home mother, she experiences a more stressful situation than usual. Between Jordan crying nonstop and Jenna's constant need for attention, Joanna almost has a mental breakdown but she is able to power through it until someone comes home. As a result, Jackie suggests that she goes on a date night with James. Joanna agrees and they go to the XP Mont restaurant, an experimental food restaurant. Although, the plan is for James and Joanna to spend time together alone, they run into Riley and Sage Cagle and decide to spend the rest of the evening with them. Meanwhile, at home, Jenna masters her potty skill, much to the others' relief.
On Saturday, Karissa Gallagher comes over, still racking her brain over Jacob's secret. Jacob gives more of an explanation to Karissa over a game of basketball and Karissa suggests that he tells his family sooner rather than later. After the game and Jacob heads in to take a quick shower, Jared flirtatiously introduces himself. Jared and Karissa begin talking and flirting with each other, hitting it off well, while Jacob takes his shower. Karissa leaves before Jacob could witness his best friend with his brother.
The next day on Sunday, Jared decides to head to the gym, Movers and Shakers, for the first time. As he does a workout on one of the machines, Jared wonders how he will tell Jacob about his budding romance with Karissa. He stops thinking about it when Karissa texts him, asking if he wants to go on a date. Jared accepts and goes home to change up. However, Jacob catches him all dressed up and Jared explains himself. He says he has a crush on Karissa, but didn't tell Jacob because he thinks Jacob also has a crush on Karissa. Jacob, however, explains that he's just friends with Karissa before coming out as a woman to Jared. Jared is initially surprised, but decides to keep his secret from their parents. Jacob then wishes his brother luck on his date.
Jared and Karissa eat at the XP Mont for their date. Jared reveals his obvious crush to Karissa, which Karissa assumed it was true because he accepted her offer for a date. After their date ends, Jared shares his first kiss with Karissa. They decide to make their relationship official by becoming boyfriend and girlfriend before kissing each other goodbye before they head home, but what they don't know is that Karissa's father had been watching them.
About a week later, Joanna notices that Courtyard Lane is gaining a couple of new neighbors. The first neighbor she meets is a bachelor by the name of David Wren. Joanna decides to invite him over for dinner one night so he can meet the rest of the Parker family. The next new neighbor Joanna meets is Monique Browne, a divorcee, and her young son she's raising, Damian Browne. Seeing that Damian is around Jenna's age, Joanna invites Monique and Damian over for a playdate one day.
David takes up Joanna's offer for dinner and comes over one night. Not only does he meet the entire Parker family, but Jackie seems to have the most chemistry with him. She talks to him all night long with some harmless flirting sprinkled in. The next day, before her playdate with Damian, Jenna masters her thinking skill, much to the pride of Joanna and Jackie. So proud that Jackie decides to call David about Jenna's mastering of the skill. Also because of Jenna's mastering, James decides to become Best Friends Forever with Joanna. After everyone has left the house, Monique shows up with Damian for his playdate. That is when Joanna and Monique become very friendly towards each other. While Joanna and Monique play video games, Jenna and Damian talk and play. Jenna is also able to master her communications just by talking with Damian.
Later that day, not only does James come home with another promotion in tow, but Julia brings home a classmate for the first time. The name of the friend she brings home is Jessica Lawson. Jessica and Julia work on homework together until Jessica has to go home.

- The Parker family has seen many incarnations throughout the years, varying somewhere between eight and ten different incarnations that spread across The Sims, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4. The following is a list that details the various incarnations.
- This one debuted in The Sims 3. James and Joanna are a young couple who live in a built house on the empty lot near Sunset Valley's waterfall. They're both young adults and they're both have brown hair. James wears a blue button down tucked into jeans and Joanna ties her hair into a ponytail and wears a red turtleneck with a black skirt. James works in the Business career while Joanna works in the Music career. James and Joanna soon have their twin sons, Jared and Jacob. Not too long after the Twins' birth do they have their daughter, Julia. However, none of them aged and they became quickly forgotten.
- This one is a reboot of the first one, except with aging, so these Parkers last a little longer. Everything up to Julia's birth remains the same as the first one. Everything following Julia's birth is new. After Julia's birth, the Parkers move into the Condor Museum Lofts next to the Lofty Cerulean Pool. Despite being placed on maternity over and over, Joanna is promoted to Roadie before giving birth to Jenna. Joanna is also able to become friends with VJ Alvi. Meanwhile, James has been making connections with Nancy Landgraab, Nick Alto, Iliana Langerak, Gunther Goth, and Thornton Wolff, all of whom work in the Business career. Joanna finally gives birth to Jordan and returns to work fulltime. The rest of the children quickly age up, eventually leading to Jared joining his mother in the Music career while Jacob joins the Medical career before they move out. The Twins move into the Modernehaus and they also allow fellow twin sisters, Cindy and Sandy Wright, to move in with them. Cindy works in the Culinary career at the Bistro while Sandy works in the Political career. Jared soon marries Cindy and Jacob soon marries Sandy, but not before Sandy's boss, Vita Alto, dies on their wedding day. Not only that, but James leaves Jacob's wedding so he can go age up himself into elder. After doing so, James retires as a Power Broker from the Business career. Jenna also develops a crush on Marvin Bunch, the son of Lisa Bunch. Meanwhile, Jared and Cindy have a daughter while Jacob and Sandy have twin daughters. Finally, lots of the Parkers age up. Joanna ages into an elder and retires from the Music career as a Stagehand. Julia ages into a young adult and gets a job as a Police Officer before moving out. Jordan ages into a teenager and becomes overweight. Jenna also ages into a young adult and moves to Sims University to attend college with Marvin.
- This one is a continuation of the second one in The Sims 4. Cindy and Sandy Wright and their daughters with Jared and Jacob Parker no longer exist. Marvin Bunch also no longer exists. The family now lives in Willow Creek at Bargain Bend at the same ages they were at in Sunset Valley. James and Joanna die of old age. Jared now works as an Entertainer while Jacob works like his father in the Business career. Jacob meets and marries Dina Caliente while Jared meets and marries Dina's mother, Katrina Caliente. Jared and Katrina have a daughter together. Jacob and Dina have two daughters and a son together. Julia comes out as a lesbian and they adopt a son together while Jordan dates one of the neighborhood teens and Jenna finds someone else to love.
- This one is a new version that debuts back in The Sims 3 and back in Sunset Valley. While James remains as he was previously, Joanna is now a blonde and remains unemployed and they both live in a revamped Monotone. Jared, inheriting his mother's features, decides to pursue a lifetime goal of fitness. He meets his future wife, Karissa Gallagher, while still in high school. Jared even gets abducted by aliens while still in high school. Jared and Karissa eventually marry and move to Isla Paradiso where they have triplet daughters, Jade, Jasmine, and Jessica. Jacob, looking more like James, continues his goal of medicine. He moves to Moonlight Falls where he lives on his own with Bonehilda before marrying Deedee Wynn. Jacob also becomes overweight while living in Moonlight Falls. Julia, also looking like James, decides to go to Sims University to pursue Science and Medicine. That is where she begins dating Walter Fullman, who has become a fairy. After graduation, Julia has a child with Walter, a fairy son named Jack. Julia, Jack, and Walter soon move into the Madison in Appaloosa Plains. Julia starts working in the Science career while Walter works in the Education career. The couple eventually gets engaged just as Julia gets pregnant with their second child. They get married and Julia gives birth to a normal son named Josh. Julia also has plans on becoming a PlantSim, but it never happened. Jordan is the fourth born child instead of Jenna. While Jenna looks exactly like Joanna, Jordan looks like James up until young adulthood and he starts wearing eyeliner and dying his hair black. Jordan and Jenna, along with James and Joanna, move to Bridgeport. James and Joanna die of old age not too long after moving to the city, but Jordan and Jenna pursue their dreams of the Film career. Jordan meets and befriends William Fangmann. Jordan then is turned into a vampire after asking to be turned by William. Jordan then starts dating Alexander French before they move in together in the hills. Jenna, still a teenager, also moves in with Jordan. Jenna also begins dating Lil Bling. The Parkers also adopted a dog named Lucky and a cat named Pepper during their stay in Sunset Valley
- This is another new version in The Sims 3 and this is the one where Jackie Rose debuts. James is also a redhead and Joanna starts wearing glasses. Jackie works as a Police Officer and her partner is Hank Goddard. Jackie begins a sexual relationship with Hank and they have a son together named Austin. Austin's birth causes Jackie to call off her relationship with Hank. Jackie later moves out with Austin. Meanwhile, James and Joanna welcome triplets to the world. The triplets' names are Jared, Julia, and Jenna. Joanna still is a stay-at-home mother while James still works in the Business career. His boss, Nick Alto, is ironically a mermaid while his coworkers, Gunther Goth and
