Fortune
Sims with the Fortune Aspiration crave money, rising to the top of their careers, and just plain expensive stuff. They'll need all of these things in spades to keep their Aspiration Meters full and their fiscally minded lives long and happy.
Fortune (known as Wealth in console versions) is an Aspiration in The Sims 2. Fortune Sims desire to work hard, gain promotions, earn money, and own expensive stuff. They are keen on gaining skills that are only related to their promotional requirements. They also only want to befriend other Sims if a promotion requires any. Fortune Sims are afraid of getting fired, robbed, or stuff taken by Repo-man. The career-involved fears include missing the carpool and being demoted. Many Business-related wants are rolled when Fortune Sims own a business.[TS2:OfB]
As teenagers, Fortune Teens always want to become overachievers, by getting an A+ grade and achieving the top of their teen career. They also want to be enrolled in private school and get many scholarships[TS2:U].

Tips & Tricks Edit
- If one wants to pair a Fortune Sim with someone that doesn't also have the Fortune aspiration, the easiest is a Popularity Sim, because their wants won't clash easily, and Fortune Sims mostly have well careers, they would bring co-workers home which makes it easier for Popularity Sims to make friends which takes a major place in their wants.
- A Family Sim is another good choice, since their wants won't clash very easily. Fortune Sims make particularly good partners for Family Sims, as their desire to earn raises and promotions will leave their spouses free to be homemakers and stay-at-home parents.
- Knowledge Sims often make good companions for Fortune Sims, as they are both ambitious and their wants won't clash easily. However they will only have a slight chemistry boost.
- Fortune Sims tend to get on pretty badly with Grilled Cheese or Pleasure Sims, as they don't have much in common.
- Townies and NPCs with the zodiac sign of Capricorn, Gemini, or Scorpio generally have this aspiration.
- Some Fortune Sims also tend to have bad sides. They want to buy more things than they need, which is a problem for Sims who don't have much funds, because most of the Fortune wants are to buy things, and not fulfilling them will make them go into aspiration failure.
- Unlike Sims of other Aspirations, Fortune Sims only want to learn skills that are needed to get promotions at work. They also only want to make friends if they need more friends to be promoted. These restrictions don't apply to Teen and Young adult Sims, or to Adult Sims that have a secondary aspiration.
