Issue is resolved

The Sims Pen will be displayed on the Main Page; discussion on how to achieve this is at Talk:The Sims Wiki

I feel that The Sim's Pen as it is right now, just being on the Fanon Portal, it isn't getting as much attention as I'd like. The Fanon section seems to be dying out just as quickly as before TSP was introduced. Support No questions needed, the fanon portal is probably underviewed because it isn't updated regularly, and not a lot of fanon content is showcased on the main page anyways. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 21:08, September 7, 2014 (UTC)

<response to WikiBuilder1147> That would be contingent on users being willing to revive those features. If that were the case, it would make the whole process more feasible. As it stands now, however, shoehorning this onto the mainpage doesn't seem like a really good idea. -- LostInRiverview ^{talk ~ blog} 22:37, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

I agree with LostInRiverview - Shoehorning the stuff onto the mainpage doesn't seem like a really good idea. I'd say that the fanon content deserves some more recognition, but other than that I'm fine how it is. If this discussion should yield a consensus in support of featuring TSP on the main page, there should be an additional discussion on Talk:The Sims Wiki to figure out how to facilitate that decision. Alternatively, if someone were so inclined, they could propose a general main page redesign and include in the redesign a place for this feature. I have placed section headings "News", "Forums" and "Features". The reorganisation of the content of the main page may help accommodate for TSP's presence on the page. You can check out the design here.
