Gaylord Koffi is Gobias Koffi's father. He is buried in Pleasant Rest Graveyard, Sunset Valley, and sometimes appears as a ghost in the cemetery.
Gobias Koffi's mother does not appear in the family tree, so it is possible that Gaylord adopted him. His first name may be a pun on the term "gay" - slang for "homosexual," thereby implying that he is homosexual. However, "Gaylord" is an actual, if uncommon, given name.[1] It may (or may also) have been intended to sound somewhat "old-fashioned".
He has both the "Can't Stand Art" and "Artistic" traits, even though they conflict. This is only possible through 'testingcheatsenabled true'.
It is possible that he was originally from Appaloosa Plains, hinted at both by his cowboy-like appearance and the fact that the aforementioned town is home to The Koffi Café.

- ↑ Wiktionary says that it's "Rarely used after the 1960s because of the modern meaning of gay."
