Hunter Cottoneye is a deranged man who lives in Riverview. He is a very lonely man living in a house alone. He wears a camo outfit and thinks the world is going to end. He starts out with no job and no relationships. He is also the highest skilled Angler in The Sims 3. At the beginning of the game in Riverview, Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes (who has similar traits to Hunter) visits Cottoneye's household, supposing they are to develop some sort of relationship. He has 7 skill points in Fishing, 5 in Athletic skill, 2 in Cooking and Handiness.
It is possible that his last name is a reference to the song Cotton-Eyed Joe.
