Neighborhood Riverblossom Hills

Joseph Martin is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Riverblossom Hills, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Seasons. He was the son of Armando and Isabel Martin, the husband of Linda Martin, the father of Andrew Martin, and the grandfather of Jacob Martin.

Joseph has personality points and interests, something not every ancestral Sim has. He is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. Joseph has the Knowledge aspiration, and the Leo zodiac sign. As far as personality, he is very outgoing, but he is a little bit sloppy, lazy and serious, as well as being quite grouchy.

According to Joseph's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 19 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Joseph's facial structure is seemingly identical to the 27th Maxis face template in Create a Sim. While all the memories of pre-made playable Sims in Riverblossom Hills are positive, he has negative memories of his parents and wife's deaths.

Joseph is shown in the Viejo Household album alive at his son's wedding, despite Andrew's memories stating that he died right before Andrew grew up into an adult. A similar situation happens with Cybil Cleveland. Oddly, Joseph has tan skin. However, both his parents have medium skin. Whether this is an error or intentional is unclear.

Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the genie lamp or an evil witch's spell. For more information, read Game guide:Bringing Sims back to life.
