Kaylynn Langerak is one of the pre-created Sims featured in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. In The Sims 2, she resides in Pleasantview and in The Sims 3, she resides in Sunset Valley. In The Sims 2, her parents are unknown and never mentioned, but in The Sims 3, they were revealed as Dustin Langerak and Iliana Langerak. We also find out that Kaylynn has an older brother, Parker Langerak, and an aunt, Zelda Mae. She, along with Remington Harris and Lucy Hanby, is usually the maid in custom neighborhoods.

Life leading up to The Sims 3

In The Sims 3, Kaylynn is a child, and has 5 days left before she becomes a teen. She is 1 day older than Mortimer Goth and 2 days older than Bella Bachelor (this is strange because in The Sims 2, Mortimer is an elder while she is an adult). Kaylynn lives in Sunset Valley with her parents, Dustin Langerak and Iliana Langerak, her older brother, Parker Langerak and her aunt, Zelda Mae. She still loves to clean. Her family bio says that she is cleaning up all of Parker's messes, since he is a slob. It doesn't quite make sense that Kaylynn even appears in The Sims 3, because if she were about the same age as Don Lothario and Cassandra Goth in The Sims 2, she would not even be born by the time of The Sims 3, and her parents would more likely be children. It's possible that she had access to the Elixir of Life. It could also mean that since NPCs do not age until added to household she got the magic NPC Power.

Life leading up to The Sims 2

By the time the storyline has caught to The Sims 2, Kaylynn's family is probably deceased and she is one of three maids for hire in Pleasantview (the other two being Lucy Hanby and Remington Harris). She has the Family aspiration and her zodiac sign is Aquarius. When it comes to her skills, she maximized all of her Cooking and Cleaning skills. She is mostly interested in talking about work, the paranormal and sports. She likes watching television and reading books.

Kaylynn has tanned skin, green eyes, and long black hair. She uses red lipstick. Apparently, Kaylynn's natural hair colour is blonde . Just like all female maids, her default outfit is the typical "French Maid" outfit, but she also wears a beautiful and elegant blue dress to show off her glamorous personality.

Kaylynn has romantic relationships with two men, apparently each without the other's knowledge. Although Don Lothario has three other lovers besides her, it looks like she is his favorite because he has the highest relationship with her. He did two types of WooHoo with her, WooHoo and Public WooHoo. For the first time, Don's request for Public WooHoo was rejected by Kaylynn but she later agreed.

Kaylynn is also romantically involved with the married Daniel Pleasant. He's having an affair with her because his wife, Mary-Sue Pleasant, is romantically cold to him and she prefers her work. It's up to the player to continue the relationship while Mary-Sue's away at work.

Trivia

• Oddly while Don and Daniel have memories of her, she doesn't have any of them the only memories that she has are CAS memories.
• In The Sims 2 she has green eyes, but in The Sims 3 she has very dark brown eyes almost black.
• The The Sims 3, Kaylynn suffers from a glitch wherein she has the body of a child, but the head of a teen (which is overly large in comparison and results in graphic problems), and will occasionally turn into a teen for short periods of time. Her voice also fluctuates between a child's voice and a teen's voice. To fix this glitch, simply age her up, and she will become a teen permananently.
• Also odd is that she only has two traits in The Sims 3, while most children have 3.
• Kaylynn in The Sims 3 has a hairstyle similar to the Brandi Broke's one.

Appearance

Kaylynn's appearance has changed in The Sims 3. Her black hair is still long, but she ties it into a ponytail with a ribbon. Her clothes are still black and white, but now consist of a black sweater vest over a white blouse, and a black skirt. Oddly, she has very dark brown (nearly black) eyes in The Sims 3, but green eyes in The Sims 2.
