The Landgraab Family is a brilliant and wealthy dynasty that currently resides in Sunset Valley, and live in Bluewater Village in The Sims 2. The family name is occasionally misspelled "Landgrabb." Landgraab Industries is featured prominently in both building names in SimCity 3000 and brand names for objects in The Sims.

On The Sims 3, it have appeared that the Landgraabs have abandoned naming their first sons Malcom with numbers added to them. The Landgraab child in The Sims 3 is widely believed to be Malcom Landgraab IV in The Sims 2.

In The Sims 2: University, one of the dorms at Sim State University is named "Landgraab House", and the Secret Society is known as the "Landgraab Society." The connections, whether past or present, between the family and Sim State are not mentioned.

The Sims

In Sims 1, one of the default Downtown lots in Hot Date is Landgraab Mall and there is a vacation place called Wrens Fens made by Admiral Landgraab. Some items such as the painting and places in Hot Date and Vacation refer to an Admiral Landgraab. Admiral Landgraab's first name is not given, and his relationship to the Malcolm Landgraab IV of Bluewater Village is unknown. On the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Gamecube games of The Sims Bustin' Out a Malcolm Landgraab is the richest man around. As he takes items of importance and interest, his surname could be indicative of his grabby nature. Dudley Landgraab and his sister Mimi Landraab are introduced along with their mother who is simply named Mom Landgraab. Mom and Malcolm were recently divorced, sending Malcolm into a rage of stealing from other Sims. It is unknown how this Malcolm is related to the Malcolm in The Sims 3.

The Sims 2

In The Sims 2, the Landgraabs are mentioned in the first expansion pack, University. One of the dorms is named The "Landgraab House", and the Secret Society is known as the Landgraab Society. In the Open for Business expansion pack, a family named the Landgraab IV family, is introduced with one surviving member, Malcolm Landgraab IV. The family tree shows two other Malcolms, but dosen't mention the original Malcolm or his children Dudley and Mimi. Malcolm Landgraab, IV owns a club and an electronics shop in Bluewater Village, and has lots of money with a big house.

The Sims 3

In The Sims 3, the Landgraab househould contains Geoffery, a modest doctor who tooks his wife's surname, Nancy, a snobbish businesswoman with a long family history of evil sims, and Malcolm, a smart yet confused kid who just wants his family to be normal. It is unknown how he is related to the other Malcolms in the Sims and The Sims 2, but some believe he is Malcolm Landgraab, IV from The Sims 2. They live in a large home and have $75,000 in household funds.

Blair Buckingham-- (Celtic) "a plain". From a surname

Virginia Buckingham-- (Latin) "chaste". According to legend, she was a Roman woman killed by her father so as to keep her a virgin-- (Latin) "chaste".

The Sims 2

In The Sims 2, Malcolm Landgraab IV lives alone in a huge mansion overlooking the town. The house is large by Sims-standards, and features a hot tub and indoor swimming pool. Oddly, the house has no television, despite the fact that Malcolm owns an electronics store. The house also features a strange, empty shed to the left of the house, but if The Sims 2: Nightlife is installed, it is the perfect fit to add a driveway in front, a garage door on the front, and a car inside.

The Sims 3

Landgraab home

In The Sims 3, the Landgraab family lives in a luxurious mansion on Summer Hill. In the town of Sunset Valley. Judging by the house and where they live, it is quite obvious that they are wealthy. An elegant home on the most exclusive circle in town, this stately manor resounds with grandeur. Four fireplaces, a massive kitchen, formal and informal living areas, a large custom pool, two car garage, and elegant neoclassical landscaping round out its elegant features.
