Marabel Goldbeard is a pre-made deceased Sim who once lived in Barnacle Bay in the nineteenth century. She died of drowning as a child and is buried in the Barnacle Boneyard, where she is the oldest ghost (in terms of birth date instead of life stage). She is Eleanor and Minty Goldbeard's older sister. She is one of the few ghosts who has a bio. She has a pale green skin, like every other deceased Sim in Barnacle Bay.

She is one of five children who died young. The others are Opal Suarley in Sunset Valley and Kirsten Remington in Riverview, who died by drowning; Davey Moans in Barnacle Bay, who died in a fire; and Wilhelmina Leaf in Twinbrook, who oddly died by electrocution (a type of death that is unavailable to children).
