Biography Me, me, me... Mimi! It seems the Landgrabb clan is full of "interesting" characters, and Mimi is no exception. Spoiled beyond belief, Mimi has developed an aversion to chores, an affection for obnoxious parties, and an affected bohemian lifestyle. But like her brother Dudley, she knows all the "cool" people. Use her as your stepping-stone. Mimi Landgraab (sometimes known as Mimi Landgrabb) first makes her appearance in The Sims console game for PS2, Xbox and GameCube. If your character is female, Mimi agrees to lend you one of her houses (which is very dirty and a victim of a recent fire). In this level, the player is required to clean the house and repair certain objects, while Mimi constantly checks on the player at least once a day (and being snobby if the character hasn't completed the tasks). Once the player has passed this level, they are then given the offer to move in with Mimi in her own house, which is larger and more comfortable than the previous house. In The Sims for console, she is interested in Money, Travel, and Weather. Mimi also can use the pool to swim and earn body points which promotes her to the next level of Lifeguard.

The Sims (Console)

In the console editions of The Sims, Mimi first shows up at the beginning of Reality Bites if your Sim is female. (If your Sim is male, her brother Dudley will show up instead.) After you complete Reality Bites, Mimi will invite the player to be her roommate. Unlike many other Sims in the game, Mimi is unwilling to skill-build, change careers, clean up, cook meals using the fridge, and answer the phone, much like her brother Dudley. However, she is willing to eat snacks, grill, and go to work.

Mimi is in the Slacker career starting out as a Golf Caddy, but typically gets promoted to Convenience Store Clerk after going to work the first time. As a Convenience Store Clerk, you can buy a swimming pool and build 2 Body skill points for her to be promoted to Lifeguard. After that, she will not get promoted to the next level, no matter how hard the player tries.

Mimi has 7 cooking skill points, which is odd as she is not willing to skill-build (though this is most likely to prevent fires if she uses the grill). She also has no personality points, much like other NPCs.

Mimi also appears in the Party Motel 2-player game mode as the first player's partner in the stage.

The Sims Bustin' Out

In The Sims Bustin' Out console games, Mimi Landgraab is the daughter of antagonist and Repo-man Malcolm Landgraab, the former stepdaughter of Mom (who has bitterly divorced with Malcolm at the start of the game), and the sister of Dudley Landgraab. In this version, she is friendly and cooks. Unlike in the console version of The Sims, she is willing to clean up in this game when she feels up to it; however, it is still the player's "job" to clean up when she doesn't.

Choosing either the "Movie Star", "Fashion Victim", or "Counter Culture" careers allows you to move in with Mimi in The Sims Bustin' Out.

Mimi's house is friendly, cheery, "girly", and pink. Her house is also very different from the original Sims. Players are able to live in it until they have received two promotions in their career track. She is rather rude for no apparent reason, and when you first move in, she will swear at you. There may be a reason for this, but it has not yet been determined.

In The Sims 2, when a male Sim is at Culinary career level 2, she is mentioned on a chance card.
