A Sim named "Nicholas Alto-Hick" is mentioned in ''[[The Sims 2]]'', if one uses cheats to bring back Vita Alto, whose grave has been found hidden underground in [[Pleasantview]]. It is unknown if this is the same Nick Alto. Apparently the game lists "Nicholas Alto-Hick" as living, but neither he nor his grave has been found. {{confirm}} |

Nick Alto is an adult Sim living in Sunset Valley. He is featured in The Sims 3. Nick is the husband of Vita and father of Holly.
Nick Alto begins the game 16 days away from becoming an elder. He starts the game as Vice President in the Business Career track. Though Nick Alto is far advanced in the Business career, he actually wishes to join the Criminal career. Initially he has 4 Athletic skill points and 2 Handiness skill points. He loves to work out, strength workouts in particular. In his inventory are a Laptop and a mystery novel Game of Thorns.
Although he shares a good relationship with his wife, he and his daughter are little better than strangers. He starts out as an acquaintance of his wife's friends Gunther and Cornelia Goth as well as their son Mortimer. He is old enemies with Geoffrey and Nancy Landgraab, but shares a neutral relationship with the couple's son Malcolm Landgraab.
He is in a feud with the Landgraabs. It seems likely that this business feud involves Nancy Landgraab in particular. Both Nancy and Nick are ambitious workaholics who are vice-presidents in the Business career, and they appear to be in competition to become the next CEO. Also, in the description for the vice-president position, it mentions that "the competition to become the next CEO is stiff", which could refer to their race to get to the top.
He is noted, along with his wife, for being one of the evil Sims in the neighborhood, and for being the unofficial owner of most of the shops and businesses. (However, he does not have the evil trait, though he does have the mean spirited one.) He and his wife Vita Alto get ahead by pushing others down, as it says that they have "plotted the misfortune of almost everyone they've met."
