Ophelia Nigmos (later known as Ophelia Specter) is the daughter of the late Creon and Willow Nigmos. Ophelia has lived with her aunt, Olive Specter, since their death. She and Nervous Subject are cousins, but they do not know one another when Strangetown is first played. Ophelia has blonde hair in braids, wears a gray tank top with a tie, blue jeans and colored shoes. She's going steady with Johnny Smith and is friends with Ripp Grunt. When first played, she is two days away from becoming an adult. If University is installed, she will qualify for two scholarships, the Orphaned Sims Assistance Fund and the SimCity Scholar's Grant.
She seems to be a bit of a worrywart, worrying about little things and always fretting.
The player may assume that she was born when Willow was almost an elder, because, unlike other teenagers in The Sims 2, she only has grandparents, no great-grandparents, so she is actually the same age as the generation below her. Like Dirk Dreamer, she is the only playable pre-made teen in her neighborhood without a sibling.
She is featured in The Sims 2 (PSP) as an adult. In that game, she has been thrown out of her house and is living in a meetinghouse in Deadtree. She has brown eyes instead of green. The same thing has happened with other characters, such as with Tank and Ripp Grunt. These two have different coloured eyes compared to their PC counterparts.
Ophelia has green eyes, but most other members of her family (even Nervous Subject) have brown eyes. She inherited them from her mother, who has green eyes if resurrected, but for some reason, they are brown in her picture. Something similar happens with Cordelia Capp, who has grey eyes and eyebrows when resurrected, even though her picture shows neither of these features.
