Romon Tanner is a pre-made Sim from Lucky Palms. He lives with his wife Aya and their children Ethan and Yuna. Both of them are expecting another child shortly at the start of the game. Romon is a famous chef in Lucky Palms who work as Chef du Cuisine at The Cactus Bistro. The Tanner family is a long-line family of chef who is famous for its home grown culinary skills, which has been the tradition of the family. Romon is a 4-star celebrity, famous for his cooking abilities. He met his wife when Aya was interviewing him in her culinary magazine. They ended up falling in love with each other and got married.

Recently, Romon seemed to have a rivalry between Lennon Sosa, who is also a chef in the town. Lennon, a 3-star celebrity, works as a Pastry Chef in The Blooming Cactus Bistro. Lennon is known to have graduated from a prestigious cooking school, where he learned the formal and prestigious cooking style as opposed to the Tanner family tradition. Romon is enemies with Lennon, and he's afraid if Lennon would eventually outshine and take over his place as the number one chef in the town.
Romon is a Natural Cook himself, and he is Ambitious to climb up his career in Culinary. His lifetime wish is to become the Culinary Librarian, which is to learn all recipes. He has 8 skill points in Cooking, 5 in Gardening, 2 in Charisma, 1 in Handiness, and 3 in Fishing. As a celebrity, Romon has a lot of friends around the town. He is very sociable, possibly due to his Charismatic trait. Like other Sims in Lucky Palms, he also has many distant friends, who in turn may be lost if they don't hang out together soon. He is friends with all his family members, his neighbor Walker Sparks, Sammi and Morgan Claremont, Kadia, Brayden and Abrielle King (who is his son's lover), Marisol Loera, Clark Bellamore, Roy Phillips, and Mariana Matlapin. He's good friends with Palmer Hayes. He is disliked by Lola Lancaster, who is Lennon's ex-girlfriend, which means that at the time when they're engaged in relationship, Lola is also involved between Romon and Lennon's rivalry.
There's a deceased Sim in the Sunwest Graveyard named Astrid Tanner. Although she doesn't appear in the family tree, it could be implied that she is Romon's mother.
