Simis Bachelor is one of the pre-created, yet unplayable sims featured in The Sims 2 and one of the pre-created, playable sims featured in The Sims 3. Though deceased when The Sims 2 begins, you can see him in the relationship trees of playable sims Cassandra Goth and Alexander Goth, who are his grandchildren. He resided, during his lifetime, in the Sunset Valley, neighborhood that ships with The Sims 3. He is the father of Bella and Michael Bachelor. He is also husband of Jocasta Bachelor. His parents are unknown and never mentioned in The Sims 2 but they were revealed in The Sims 3 as Milton and Enriqueta Bachelor.

In The Sims 3, Simis Bachelor is an adult living with his wife, Jocasta Bachelor, teenage son, Michael Bachelor and daughter, Bella Bachelor (Bella Goth) in the Sunset Valley. He works as a journalist and although he has "Frugal" trait, his lifetime wish is to "Live in the Lap of Luxury".

Appearance

Simis's appearance didn't change much in The Sims 3. He still has short hair but without a fringe and his hair is no longer grey as it was but it is brown now. His clothes are similar to clothes he wears in The Sims 2. He wears a brown jacket and blue shirt with white lines. He also wears brown pants. The color of his eyes is still brown, but it is a darker shade, instead of light brown.

Personality

His traits are Neurotic, Inappropriate, Handy, Frugal and Family Oriented, which is quite strange because Simis's aspiration is Romance in The Sims 2. The decision to not make him like a romantic sim was probably done by developers to fit his character more into the typical "father" role. Other traits are completely unique.

Afterlife: Life leading up to The Sims 2

By the time the storyline has caught to The Sims 2, Simis Bachelor is already deceased. His wife, Jocasta Bachelor is also deceased and his son, Michael Bachelor married Dina Caliente but afterawhile died of an old age. This leave Simis's daughter, Bella Goth as the only living descendant through his family. Simis died in the Elder stage, hinting that he could died of an old age, however his grave is nowhere to be found and for that reason it's impossible to resurrect him.

Personality

When it comes to Simis's personality in The Sims 2, his aspiration is Romance and his zodiac sign is Libra. He is mostly interested in the Fashion, Culture and Sports. He is Outgoing (8,0); Nice (7,0) and Playful (6,0) a lot but he is not Neat (2,0) and Active (2,0) very much.
