Death type[edit source]

I've never properly checked Olivia Monty's death type before, partly because I deleted the tombstones of all the pre-made deceased Sims early in my game. But has it been confirmed what Olivia's death type is?

I was wondering this because Sims who die of starvation and Sims who die of old age have the same colour ghosts. Again I've never properly checked Olivia's death type before, so I don't recall ever seeing her using the fridge while haunting the Monty Ranch. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:28, August 31, 2014 (UTC)

It's - for sure - starvation, as an old age death could never occur to Olivia as she's an adult with 23 days left in her stage...... Well death of old age as adults occured to some Capp ancestors.. but I'm sure her death is starvation. It's kinda confusing as her husband works in a restaurant 0_o Imasexysimlover (talk) 08:47, November 15, 2014 (UTC)
Except that Octavius and Scribonia Capp died of old age as adults, assuming that the information on their respective pages is correct (I haven't done a proper check in-game to identify what they died of, but from what I can remember, they didn't have much of a temper which indicates that they died of old age). Sims who died of old age can be distinguished from Sims who died of starvation, because they don't tend to complain about the thing that killed them, they don't eat from the fridge, and they don't seem to have a temper. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:50, March 8, 2015 (UTC)
I've just enabled the InSimenator on a laptop and forced Claudio and Olivia's ghosts to appear at night time. And yes, they both died of starvation. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:41, April 26, 2015 (UTC)

This section has been dead for ages, but for future readers, I'll just point out that I've done a recent game-play check, and Sims who die of old age appear white as ghosts, while Sims who die of starvation appear pale blue. So there actually is a difference between the colours of starvation and old age ghosts. Those who believed that they were the same - myself included - must have made an error. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:11, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

Huh[edit source]

Is it true that Olivia has 3 neat 8 outgoing 4 active 4 playful and 6 nice points.., I resurrected her and that was her personality. Imasexysimlover (talk) 08:41, November 15, 2014 (UTC)

It's true. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:50, March 8, 2015 (UTC)

Resurrecting Olivia[edit source]

Is it safe to resurrect her or Claudio? Because some Veronaville sims are borked or just have partial character data, which can corrupt the game if ressurected. But, as they were both meant to be alive, maybe they aren't corrupted or "incomplete", that's why I ask. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.195.241.61 (talkcontribs) 15:20, October 4, 2015‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Hello anon! I assume it's safe to ressurect her,I never tried, but on her page it hasn't got a warning, so I think it's safe to give it a try. Sims Player (talk) (mistakes) 15:23, October 4, 2015 (UTC)
Not all pre-made Sims are safe to resurrect, as not all of them have playable character data. When in doubt, back up your neighborhood and keep that backup for a very, very long time. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 15:26, October 4, 2015 (UTC)
