Battle 98: Tybalt Capp vs Tank Grunt[edit source]

Tybalt Capp
Tank Grunt
WINNER!
Tank Grunt
Two teenagers from the Sims 2 base game who are actively involved in separate feuds. Which do you prefer? Tybalt Capp from Veronaville - a hot headed parody of a Shakespeare character, or Tank Grunt from Strangetown - a Military obsessed son to a General?

End Date:

Votes for Tybalt Capp[edit source]

  1. Let's be serious, both of them have ridiculous face paint, desperately search the attention of their idols who are the only living direct ancestors of them, they got pulled into a feud with another family started by that guy, in both cases their siblings have no problem with the enemy family, they have no love interests due to their negative attitude and no job. The only reason why I'd pick Tybalt is because I simply don't get along with Strangetown. --AldeaMalvada (talk) 21:27, August 10, 2014 (UTC)

Votes for Tank Grunt[edit source]

  1. Tank Grunt may be prejudiced against Aliens but I see him as a nicer guy than Tybalt Capp. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 01:10, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  2. Would be funny to see him win twice in a row. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 01:19, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  3. Joey.eyeball (talk) 01:26, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  4. Tank seems more likely to be reasonable than Tybalt. AldoHyde 09:32, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  5. Didn't Tybalt kill Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet? For a bit of "Sim-acting", I had Tybalt Capp kill Mercutio Monty with a downloaded assault rifle. And, just to complete things, I had Romeo Monty kill Tybalt Capp as well. That sucks to have one kill and one death beside your name on the Leaderboard, doesn't it? Tank hasn't killed Johnny Smith yet in my game, and he does seem to have a "soft interior" inside. Votes to him, again. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 11:35, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  6. I'm not a huge fan of Veronaville, yet I play Strangetown quite a lot, so Tank gets my vote. Euan Del Rey (talk) 12:24, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  7. I usually play them both as villains, but Tank at least has a sympathetic side because he'll never live up to his dad's expectations. Tybalt just seems mean. Beatrice Monty (talk) 07:58, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
  8. I haven't played with either yet, as I still have to even touch Strangetown and Veronaville, but, from what I have seen, Tybalt is just a tool by his parents, who only hates the Montys because the older generation of his family does. Tank seems to have a better-developed personality, so I guess my vote goes to him. OpelSpeedster (talk) 21:20, August 8, 2014 (UTC)

Comments[edit source]

  1. Once again I can't really choose on this battle because I don't play around with these sims much. I'm more of a Pleasantview kind of person. StartUp 02:54, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  2. I'm more of a Pleasantview type person, but I still voted. Not that there's anything wrong with not voting. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:57, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  3. @StartUp:Same with me, play Pleasantview all the time, Strangetown half the time and Veronaville is left untouched. Joey.eyeball (talk) 02:58, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  4. With me, I'd say Pleasantview, then Veronaville, then Strangetown as of 2011-2. These days I play them roughly the same amount. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:01, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  5. I'm the exact opposite. I find myself playing the expansion neighborhoods rather than the base game ones. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 03:01, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  6. I usually find myself mucking around more with the expansion pack neighbourhoods, rather than doing anything serious. Then I delete the Expansion Pack neighbourhoods once I get tired of them (or delete the playable Sims that come with the hood, in the case of a sub-neighbourhood). -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:05, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  7. I am definitely not a Pleasantview type of person. I've always preferred Strangetown, with Veronaville next. I also seriously doubt Tybalt will win. AldoHyde 09:32, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  8. @C.Syde65: I hope you followed Game guide:How to delete a Sim correctly! Simply deleting a Sim in the family bin will cause corruption! --k6ka (talk | contribs) 11:35, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  9. No I didn't, because at the time I simply didn't know how. I just hope it's possible to delete a Sim correctly by other means, once you've already done so incorrectly. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 12:08, August 3, 2014 (UTC)
  10. I'd say Tank has this bag already. Tybalt's just a bully, that's why no one's voted for him yet. I often make Consort and Tybalt (and sometimes even Juliette who's supposed to be nice) drink Magically Spiced Sugar, to ease their grouchiness and nastiness. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:01, August 4, 2014 (UTC)
  11. @C.Syde65: Once you've deleted a Sim in the family bin, it's forever corrupted. Review this game guide, just go over the basics, and you'll still be able to have mounds of fun in the game. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 12:34, August 4, 2014 (UTC)
  12. If anyone's interested, they should check out my Romeo, Mercutio, and Tybalt fanons. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:26, August 5, 2014 (UTC)
  13. It looks like Tybalt only has one vote, which means Tank Grunt with eight votes won! It's lucky that Tank won twice in a row. Wikierzz1122 (Let's talk it over) 18:26, August 16, 2014 (UTC)
