I love writing. Many times I've tried writing books, and only managed to achieve it four times in my life. None of those books are published. I'd never publish a book that I've written. It just seems wrong to me, to put a price tag on my hobby, and it'd suck the fun out of writing for me.
Along with those books, I've written many short stories, fan fictions, drabbles, tales, even a collection of stories about cats. The latter is an aid to coming to terms with the loss of a cat that I totally adored.
Reading:
I read Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Angel Burn series, Beastly.
I'm on a classics reading kick, and prefer reading them over most of the new series that come out. Some of the books that I've read recently and liked are, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carrol, Secret Garden, Tales from The Brothers Grimm, The Hobbit.
Movies:
I watch a lot of movies, and have a huge DVD collection of over a hundred. Just lately, I've had to add a Blueray section.
I don't watch much TV, I prefer to get DVDs of my favourite TV shows, and watch all the episodes in order.
Games:
I mostly like either life similator games like Sims or Harvest Moon, or adventure ones like Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon and Dragon Quest IX. Though, sadly, there aren't that many great adventure games for me to really get into lately.
Sims Gaming
As you can plainly see by my userboxes, I love Sims 2. I have played Sims 1 and Sims 3, but I didn't like them that much.
Favourite Game
Sims 1 was too basic, and pretty much the reason that I went off Sims console games. Not enough family detail in them, and it was all build houses for sims that are never going to age, and I'll probably get sick of eventually, and never play again.
I felt Sims 3 was great, but I didn't like how the whole neighbourhood could age with out my input. When I play sims, I like to sculpt my own stories with in each household. It was great, but not the game that I will always love.
Sims 2 really was the best for me, because it had everything I wanted. Great graphics, and so many possibilities for houses. Detailed families, that I could help them achieve greatness in their lives, and expand their families. Yet, if the sims didn't live on the current lot, they were frozen exactly how I left them.
Interior/Exterior Design Interests
Japanese zen minimalism, and old gothic houses. Not at the same time of course.
I'm not Japanese or goth, I just like the designs. I always seemed to put more effort into these designs, than any other. But, my true skill was gothic houses. Whether they were tiny little spooky houses, or big gothic manors, I'd go all out on them to make them both awesome and gothicly spooky.
Sim Goals
For every single sim or household, I'd have exactly the same goal; getting them to permanent platinum mood. I just thought that was so nice, that their graves had the aspiration symbols on them, it was like an acknowledgement of the achievements of the departed sims lives. That, and it's so much easier to follow my own created story lines, if I have the aspiration items to help nudge things along.
Opinions On Cheats/Downloadable Custom Content
I don't use cheats, because I feel that it ruins the game. I'd much rather spend time achieving or unlocking things, and have a sense of achievement, rather than tap in some cheat to instantly get everything.
Downloadable custom content, I don't use because when I most often played Sims 2, I didn't have access to internet. If I had have had internet then, I might have used that custom content.
Favourite Sims
I love the Goths they are my fave family in the whole game. They remind me so much of The Addams Family, which I love too. I couldn't possibly choose between Mortimer, Bella, Cassandra or Alexander, I adore them all.
Fanons
Fanons written by me. I only have one going at the minute, but I hope to write some more soon. Or, perhaps finish the one I have going first.
This is my plan, for when I can play Sims 2 again. I plan to play the Goths house, and turn their broken home into something more happier.
First thing, I would do is make a sim in a separate house, and befriend all the Goths. Then, make her get maximum in all skills, all hobbies and try to keep her in platinum mood, to earn a genie lamp so I can give it to Mortimer. Then, make Mortimer and Cassandra wish for permanent platinum mood - Alexander will do the same, when he's a teen. Then, use Elixir of Life on Mortimer to give him much more time.
Have Cassandra break up with Don, he's a loser and she can do with out him. Have Mortimer break things off with Dina. Make a really nice gothic sim, to marry Cassandra - he's going to take her name. Then, have the family go on vacation to Twikki Island, Takemizu Village, and Three Lakes, filling up all their Vacation Momentos. Let Alexander go to college, where he'll meet a CAS that I'll make based off Cecilia.
Sadly, there will be a tiny bit of heart ache for Cassandra, her husband will pass away while she's pregnant with their child. (Sad, I know, but there has to be some sadness there.) Cecilia and Alexander will have a child, too.
Then, stop playing them when the babies are at child. Of course, I'll keep using elixir of life on Mortimer to keep him alive. And, use some elixir on Cassandra, to stop her from becoming an elder.
