About your edit on LFT society

I agree with your edit of the LFT Society. I have made a place on the talk page to discuss the dispute about the correct list of members. I realize that is might seem presumptuous when another editor (who happens to be an admin) undoes your edit. My guess is that editor had recently added the list for all of the societies and didn't realize that the list was copied for the wrong society, so he assumed that your edit must have been wrong. Regardless of the reason, I hope that this doesn't cause you to not help out with the wiki because of this one mistake by one user. -- Icemandeaf (talk) 21:56, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I didn't realise that the list was copied for the wrong society. I must have somehow forgotten to add the correct members, when I was adding lists for all three societies. So naturally I didn't realise that I'd added the incorrect information. That can sometimes happen. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:16, January 2, 2016 (UTC)
It's OK guys. I was over-reacting a bit with this. I'd love to help the Sims Wiki more. It's a great site. Please don't take my words personally.
I didn't mean it in that way. I really love this website!
You can find all the helpful information about the game in one place. That's why I like this site so much. Thank you for being a terrific site!
Best wishes

I am aware that this discussion is as good as dried up, but I remember two years ago when I was an anon. People often undid my edits without fully considering whether I might be correct. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:50, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

Re Housekeepers

Hi. In general, when determining whether or not an NPC is safe to play as, they need to have 1. Full playable character data, 2. A real name, and 3. Are regenerated when moved in. However, as much as I can say about this, please direct your comments to Game guide talk:Which NPCs are safe to play as? so this can be discussed in the proper venue. Also keep in mind that editors that revert your edits have nothing personal against you, so keep this in mind, stay calm and civil, and refrain from repeatedly reverting back (also known as edit warring). —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 14:38, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

We can't prove that it's unsafe to make Housekeepers playable, "just" because they can't be made playable under normal circumstances. The only way to make Cooks (from Nightlife) playable that I'm aware of is if one of them is used in a walk by on a community lot. I definitely know that they have been used in walk by's in community lots, but I'm not sure if there's any other way to meet them. I haven't had any problems with DJ's in all the time that I've played them, even though there is no way for them to be made playable in normal game-play that I'm aware of.
In practice it is possible for Social Workers to be made playable without cheats, but that doesn't mean that they are safe to make playable. Many users, possibly yourself included, are aware that Social Workers are not safe to make playable, I've seen proof of this with my own eyes. The bottom line is that just because a type of NPC can't be made playable without cheats doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't safe to be made playable. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:34, September 11, 2016 (UTC)
