Yves Jacquet (or Xavier Jacquet in the UK version) is the father of Gilbert Jacquet, who comes with The Sims 2: Open for Business. He is deceased, but before his death, he was the husband of Denise Jacquet. He is seen wearing a chef's hat and apron. It is thought that he owned J'Adore Bakery, and passed it on to his son. His parents are Jerome and Suzanne Jacquet.

It is presumed that he died recently, as the bakery's stock includes cheesecake and Baked Alaska, which neither Denise nor Gilbert have the skill to make. However, his grave is nowhere to be found, and Denise and Gilbert do not have memories of his death.

• Yves has the hidden Power aspiration.
• When editing in SimPE, his zodiac sign is not recognized.
• When viewing his Sim DNA, he has grey hair genetics. This is unusual; normally grey hair is not reflected in Sim DNA. He has no true hair genetics. This is also the case of Mrs. CrumpleBottom.
