There are several fictional companies in The Sims series that are mentioned in object descriptions, career chance cards, adventures and Sim biographies. Like many names in The Sims universe, they can be a play on words relating to the type of object(s) they sell.
Big Yard Dudes Inc is a statue manufacturing company known for its very large outdoor statues, which can be purchased by wealthier Sims.
Brand Name produces low-end kitchen appliances.
Exerto is a Sim Corporation that produces body-building equipment such as workout machines, as well as body-building career rewards such as the Exerto Punching Bag and the Exerto Selfflog Obstacle Course
Landgraab Industries and Shiny Things Inc. are businesses owned by the Landgraabs.
LoFi Audio makes basic "boom box" stereos.
