The family in ''The Sims 2'' consists of aspiring artist [[Darren Dreamer]], and his son, [[Dirk Dreamer|Dirk]]. Darren and Dirk live at [[195 Main Street]] in [[Pleasantview]]. Darren's wife [[Darleen Dreamer|Darleen]] is deceased, and her grave is on their lot.

The family is low on money, with only §968 in funds, and three sets of overdue [[bill]]s to pay. Also, Darren wants to win [[Cassandra Goth]]'s heart and get married to her, but is [[Don Lothario]] standing in his way?
[[Darren Dreamer]] is a widower and lives with his son, [[Dirk Dreamer]] in [[Pleasantview]].


Both sets of overdue bills are white, which is not possible in normal gameplay. The family should have enough funds to pay them right away, but that will take a large portion of its available funds.

*In my game, Judy (a sim I made) moved in with Darren just to be a cleaning and nanny person to them, thats what i originally had in mind. Well, I could see that Judy and Darren were lusting for eachother so I made them date, they eventually got married and had two kids one a girl, Macey, and the other a boy, (forgot his name >.<). Macey married Alexander Goth's kid, Ronny. And the other (whose name I forget) married Alexander Goth's kid Azure. Darren died of age and Judy starved during her third pregnacy; TRAGIC. Oh yeah and Dirk married Lilith and they are both cops!

He is quite well known in-town, being somewhat rich with §20,000 in household funds (compared to only §968 in ''The Sims 2''), as well as being a celebrity. There is no relation at all to the etymology of the Dreamers, except for the surname. The only interesting bit is that all of the names start with the letter "D". To follow that, there would be a limited choice of the names they could be, and an even more limited choice of etymology references. It is also interesting to note that Darren's name can be twisted to mean, "great dreamer."
*In my game, Darren got engaged to Cassandra and then married in less than an hour but then my computer froze. I'm too scared to go back to pleasantview. They WERE living in the goth house having got rid of the graves,getting a greenhouse,pool and pond and failing to join gardening club. Wow.
