Joshua Curious was the son of Lucifer Curious and Tessa Curious and the younger twin brother of Lucas Curious. Remarkable is that while his mother was an alien he did not inherit her green skin or black eyes, which is unusual because these genes are normally dominant.

Later in life Joshua married Tiffany Curious and got a son with her named Vin. He believes to be the biological father of Harper Curious, but this is not the case.

Biography

Babyhood

Lucifer won't deny that he was worried for his wife Tessa, but his worries seemed unnecessary as Joshua and his older brother Lucas were born healthy and without any issues. Joshua was told by his parents that as a baby he would be most calm when he knew that Lucas was around, often even screaming for his presence if he couldn't find him. It was a surprise for their parents that they were not one but two babies, but nonetheless were they very excited and happy to raise them.

Toddlerhood

Joshua is not as excited about the full household as his brother and is even a little relieved when his father's cousin Klatu moves out with his family Marsha and Drew. He was taught how to talk by his mother Tessa, while Lucifer taught him how to walk and potty trained him. He is a little slower with learning his toddler skills compared to his brother Lucas, but still manages to get it all done in time.

Childhood

As a child Joshua mostly remembers the times spend with his parents and his brother, they had some great pizza and movie nights, and always saw his parents watch them at their soccer games. He likes going to school but struggles a little with getting good grades and really has to put a lot of effort in it, unlike his brother. While Lucas is more busy with getting some friends, Joshua does not feel the need and prefers to focus on his studies. When his parents suggest that Lucas and himself should go to private school he agrees and is excited to start a new school where everybody takes studying as serious as himself.

Teenhood

In high school Joshua starts to focus on his possibilities for a future career, while he notices that Lucas' interest seems to be more to do with girls. He would never admit it to anyone, but he wouldn't mind for girls to like him as much as they seem to like Lucas. It is only when Lucas asks him to hang out in the park in order to impress Camryn McGaw and hang with her friend Tiffany Riley that he gets the chance to talk to a girl. Joshua is incredibly shy at first, as he can tell that Tiffany has a lot more experience than him. He strikes up a conversation with her -with a lot of help from Lucas and Camryn- and she seems to be really nice to Joshua. The four of them became a friend group and spend most of their lunches in the park hanging out.

When graduation came in sight, Joshua asked his parents if they ever thought he could go to college. They admitted they had not really thought about it, but would discuss it with each other and come back to him about it. It didn't take long before Joshua and Lucas were set down by their parents and were encouraged to apply to a few colleges. Joshua, excited and knowing to which ones he could apply, immediately started his process. He hoped to get in a prestigious college, but when his brother Lucas suggested that the four of them, Lucas, Camryn, Joshua and Tiffany should head to the same college together, he realized that they would never get into one of those colleges. He thought about it for a bit but realized he wanted to be together with his brother and friends. He suggested that they should apply to La Fiesta Tech, a college near to Strangetown and together with Lucas he brought that plan to Camryn and Tiffany. It seemed to have paid off for them as the girls were excited and also all got accepted.

Young Adulthood

Arriving in La Fiesta Tech, Joshua moves into a dormitory together with Lucas, Camryn and Tiffany. Finally making it into university, Joshua realizes that he is not sure what major he wants to choose. When he learns that Lucas chose his already and is going for literature, he decides to take a class and immediately falls in love with the major. His brother is a little distant with him for a while, but Joshua blames this on him getting together with Camryn. At the same time Joshua tries to ask Tiffany out, but she seems to occupied with partying and other Sims to even notice him. As he realizes that right now nothing will happen between the two, he tries to maintain their friendship by joining her on the parties she visits, but has a hard time also finding time to do his school work and pass his exams. He has to work extra hard and often has had very little to no sleep.

When Lucas and Camryn get engaged, Lucas asks him what the deal is with him and Tiffany and why the two aren't dating yet. Joshua tells him that he would really like to but somehow the universe has a hard time to make it clear to Tiffany that he likes her. Almost like the universe knew he gets asked out by Tiffany not a whole lot later and the two start dating.

Wanting to give a big romantic gesture towards Tiffany, he decides to surprise her and follow his brother's lead by proposing to her on their graduation day, surrounded by his family. The surprise seemed to have been paid off, as Tiffany is too stunned to respond to him for the first few minutes, which after that she accepts. Like his brother, Joshua graduates Cum Luade.

Adulthood

Back in Strangetown, Joshua moves back in with his parents and suggests that Tiffany should come live with him for the time being, until they can afford a house. He learns that Lucas and Camryn had the same idea, and all of a sudden the Curious household become an extra full house again. Tiffany, not too excited with all this extended family on her every day business told Joshua that they should find a place as soon as possible as she does not like to stay here for too long. When Joshua tells her that they simply can't afford a house with the two of them, Tiffany suggests to ask Camryn and Lucas to buy something with them and split the costs.

When settling in the house next door, Joshua is not sure what to do with his career. When he learns that Lucas got a job in the entertainment, he discovers that this might be the perfect job for him; after all, who doesn't like twin entertainers? He is touched when he learns that Lucas wants him to be his best man for his wedding and loves every moment of their beautiful wedding. When he talks about plans for their wedding with Tiffany she confesses that she would rather just elope and get it over with. Although he is a little disappointed at first Joshua agrees and get married in secret. When his parents and Lucas find out they are surprised and slightly offended, making things even more uncomfortable for Joshua as he explains how that is what Tiffany wanted. Luckily not much later after that Camryn announces her pregnancy and most of the attention shifts to that.

Tiffany is giving Joshua a hard time as she keeps telling him that she prefers not to work, while he keeps explaining to her that they simply can't afford it for her to stay home. When she brings up that Camryn can stay home a lot now with the baby coming she suggests that perhaps they should try for a baby too. Joshua, although again a little disappointed with her reasoning agrees and it does not take long for Tiffany to get pregnant as well. He loves that Lucas and himself are both experiences their wives going through a pregnancy together and he can see them bond as well.

His niece Deena is born and is excited to fulfill some uncle duties and practice a little before he becomes a father. He doesn't have to wait long as son Vin is born not much later. He loves spending time with the little boy, and sees that Tiffany often enjoys her time away from the baby so she can rest. As he grows older he teaches Vin how to walk and talk, while Tiffany makes sure that they don't have to change one more diaper. He did not expect it but Tiffany jumps back into her career and spends a decent amount of time in office, and even traveling for a bit. He is surprised when she comes back from one of her business trips and tells him she probably won't make another one as she is pregnant again. Joshua did not expect this as they had never talked about having another child, but was happy nonetheless and was excited to have a family of four. Harper was born a healthy baby girl with bright gray eyes and blond hair. When Lucas voiced some concern to Joshua about the timing of the pregnancy, as well as the looks of his daughter, Joshua immediately defended Tiffany and was very angry with Lucas for thinking his wife could be doing something so terrible.

As the children grow older he suggests that they should be put in private school, as this has become some sort of a tradition for the Curious family and Tiffany has no problem with that. He realizes that Harper is growing older and starts to look less and less like both Tiffany and himself, but refuses to think anything of it as it would not change anything in his mind.

Elderhood

Growing older, and their children slowly turning into beautiful independent adults, Joshua decides to retire from his job. The twins had seen many successful years but he feels like it is time for a different path now. With less and less time on this earth, he keeps wondering if he should talk to his wife about Harper, but every time he decides to do it, he chickens out in the moment.

He is a witness of Vin marrying his high school sweetheart Jessica Grunt and has a beautiful night with Tiffany and Harper. When Harper had a little too much fizzy juice she confessed to her father that she once saw a man that looked a lot like her on their doorstep, but she didn't know who it was. Joshua ignored the confession and just hugged his daughter instead.

Vin and his wife Jessica announce their pregnancy and Joshua is excited to become a grandfather. He meets little Sander and spends some time with him knowing that he is nearing his last years. When Lucas is really sick, Joshua gets extremely sad as he understand what this means. As Lucas passed away, Joshua's health became a lot worse. On his death bed, Tiffany seems about to confess something but then changes her mind. Joshua dies of old age.
