Granite Falls is a sub-world introduced in The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat game pack.[1] Sims can vacation in Granite Falls for up to seven days. Sims with the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration will often want to go on vacation to Granite Falls.
Neighborhoods
Granite Falls has two neighborhoods.[2]
Campground
Visitors arrive in the Campground neighborhood. Sims are able to set up a tent and camp, or they can stay in pre-built cabins. Sims will have only what they carry with them, and will need to procure additional supplies from a Ranger Station upon arriving. Tents, food, campfires, tables and chairs can all be purchased here, and Park Rangers can also give advice on some features of the area. In addition to the Park Rangers, a Sim wearing a bear costume can also be found here. If a tourist Sim encounters the bear they will gain a 'Tense' moodlet.
Granite Falls National Park
The second neighborhood is Granite Falls National Park, which consists of only one lot: Granite Falls Forest. This is a lush forest full of plants, insects and scenic vistas.[2] Here Sims can find many of the new collectibles introduced in Outdoor Retreat. There is also a cabin here which Sims can sleep and eat in.
In addition to the main area, Granite Falls Forest contains an entrance to a secret area called the Deep Woods. To access this area the player must first locate the entrance and then give the correct answers to a series of pop-ups. This area is home to the Hermit of Granite Falls, befriending whom is important for the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration and the Herbalism skill. It is also home to several rare types of plants, herbs and fish.
