Incense is a system of items and moodlets introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures and The Sims 4: Spa Day.
The Sims 3: World Adventures[edit | edit source]
There are three incense holders, one from each destination, and each provides a unique moodlet and effect to the room it is used in. Incense costs a small fee to light, but it will stay lit indefinitely unless the player puts it out. They are inventory items, and sit neatly on most surfaces.
Mazzamesses II Incense Holder[edit | edit source]
The Mazzamesses II Incense Holder is purchased from the general merchant in Al Simhara for 500 simoleons. It provides the Totally Mellow moodlet to any room it is burning in. While Sims have this moodlet they do not get as stressed and their mood is boosted +10. This item has two recolorable channels. Mazzamesses II is a name based on a mummy you may fight or create with the canopic jars.
Honorary Incense Holder of Jun Pao[edit | edit source]
The Honorary Incense Holder of Jun Pao is purchased from the general merchant in Shang Simla for 1000 simoleons. It provides the Neuronic Synergy to any room it is burning in. While Sims have this moodlet they learn skills faster, so it is an excellent item to combine with the Genius trait and Logic skill, which also boost learning speed. It also provides a mood boost of +10. This item has three recolorable channels.
Little Boy Soldier Incense Holder[edit | edit source]
The Little Boy Soldier Incense Holder is purchased from the general merchant in Champs Les Sims for 1250 simoleons. It provides the Love Is In The Air moodlet to any room it is burning in. While Sims have this moodlet they are more successful in their romantic interactions, so it is excellent for seducing Sims that a player invites over to their home lot. It also provides a mood boost of +10. This item has two recolorable channels.
The Sims 4: Spa Day[edit | edit source]
The Sims 4: Spa Day adds two new incense burner objects. Sims can burn incense for §20. Incense will burn for two hours and produce an emotional aura. It will also enhance the effects of massages, bath soaks, meditation, and yoga.
