Isabella's culinary talents have long been the cornerstone of the Monty clan, but will her secret recipe for the perfect baked Alaska heal old family wounds?
Isabella sold her share in a profitable garden center to pursue her dream of owning a bed and breakfast. She carries herself with the quiet confidence of a beloved grandmother.
She is the daughter of the deceased Vincentio and Francisca Pantalone, wife of Patrizio Monty; also the grandmother and guardian of the two orphaned teenage brothers Mercutio and Romeo Monty along with twins Beatrice and Benedick Monty, and the mother of Bianca, Antonio and the late Claudio Monty. She's enemies with the Capp Family. Unusually, her memories state she met (and fell in love with) Patrizio as teenagers, whereas Patrizio's say they met and fell in love as adults. This could be explained if they dated when Patrizio was an adult and Isabella was a teenager, which can happen in real life. In the Sims however, this is not possible. Oddly Isabella has no memories of the birth of their children and even their growing up, the first memory she has of her children is "Claudio Monty got engaged" and she does not have any memory of Bianca, this was probably a mistake made by the developers.
According to her genetics, she had blonde hair before it turned grey.
In at least some game versions, her character file does not contain data on how long she spent in previous life stages, and her age bar will say that she is 1 day old. This means that she has so far spent 1 day as an elder.

On the console version, Isabella portrays a slightly different story. Here, she is living with her husband, Patrizio at Cliffside Retreat, with the butler, Don Treadwell. Her roommate is the player's Sim. She is also good friends with Don Treadwell. Her aspiration is creativity and some of her main goals are to improve Cliffside Retreat and to become more creatively talented. She has 7 Cooking skill points, along with 4 Creativity skill points.
She has a positive +25 relationship with Patrizio, and a +3 relationship with Don. She's friends with Noel Howard. Oddly, in the console, Isabella is not married to Patrizio. They appear to be just acquaintances, with no other relationships.
Isabella appears in The Sims 3 Store's downloadable neighborhood of Monte Vista. She lives with her husband and first two children - her third is yet to be born.
Strangely while she has genetics for blonde hair in The Sims 2, she has brown hair in The Sims 3, meaning that she probably dyed it brown.
