Kimberly Cordial is one of the pre-made playable Sims, residing in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She is one of the twins of the Cordial family, presumably the older one according to her memories. Kimberly, unlike her sister Samantha, was always considered grouchy, rebellious, and tough, a copy of Lilith Pleasant. The only difference between Lilith and Kimberly is that Kimberly was taught toddler skills (but grew up badly, like Lilith) and that Kimberly has black hair instead of red. They both, though, have green eyes and light skin. While Samantha and Kimberly are twins, their genetics are slightly different. Kimberly has larger eyes that curve upward slightly, a wider mouth, jaw, and chin, a bigger nose, thicker lips, and a slightly shorter face.

In a family photograph, she is shown insulting Samantha. There was another photograph where she was being lectured for being mean to her sister. Like the Pleasant twins, Kimberly and Samantha did share a rivalry as teenagers and children. However, as they grew older they left their sibling rivalry behind and became friends. Kimberly befriended Frances McCullough, the High Evil Witch, by the start of the game. Like Samantha and Phoebe, she has enough of a good relationship with her magical friend to become an evil witch. All that needs to be done is to invite Frances over, and use the interaction, "Teach Me the Path of Darkness". The player is suggested to do this, because clear evidence shows good and bad reagents dominating the shelves in the house. If you look in the sister's bedrooms, you'll find a Crystallized Moonbeams on Samantha's desk, and a Viper's Essence on Kimberly's desk.

Despite being a Knowledge Sim, Kimberly will get a bad memory, if she becomes an evil witch. However, her bio says she isn't sure it's the right path for her so this isn't too surprising. Kimberly wears a dark brown strapless jumpsuit with various necklaces, and heeled knee-high boots. Her black hair is in a bob similar to her sister's, but not all of her hair is brushed away from her face. She holds a job in the Military career at Level 2, in the Elite Forces. Kimberly has level 2 enthusiasm in Arts and Crafts if The Sims 2: FreeTime is installed, and also her predestined hobby will be Sports, because of her active and grouchy personality.

Despite being a Knowledge Sim, Kimberly has a hidden Popularity aspiration token, which may be the reason for her rolling Popularity-related wants and having a Popularity lifetime want of Becoming Mayor. When the family is first played, Kimberly is 29 days from being an elder. She is voiced by Zoe Galvez.
