Leod comes from a long line of farmers. He left his homeland to start his own farm but will he be able to run it without the help of friends and family?
Leod McGreggor is a pre-made Sim who lives in a farmhouse in Riverblossom Hills. He comes from a long line of farmers and left his homeland to start his own farm, and is trying to run it by himself. Many presume his homeland to be Scotland, as his name and clothing are of Scottish origin.
Leod starts the game with 4 skill points in Cooking, 2 in Mechanical and Logic, and one in Body and Cleaning. He has the Fortune aspiration, however he is unemployed. At the start of the game, he is 26 days away from becoming an elder. He seems to be based on Don Lothario, a Sim who lives in Pleasantview.
He is friends with Gabe O'Mackey and has known Jason and Rose Greenman. He is found attractive by many of the women, including Cleo Shikibu, Betty Goldstein, and Catherine Viejo, though he himself does not have a romantic interest in any of them, and is only considered by him as acquaintances at the start of the game.
There is a community lot in Moonlight Bay, a neighborhood in the console version of The Sims 3, named McGregor's Community Garden. It contains a smaller version of Leod McGreggor's red barn with a kitchen inside. Its icon on the map screen is a red barn.
In The Sims 3: University Life, there is a comic book entitled Outrageous Adventure written by Leod McGregor. While it is unlikely that the use of this name is a coincidence on the part of the creators, the reasons why Leod was chosen as the book's author - or even if it was written by the same Leod McGregor who appears in The Sims 2 - has not been confirmed.
