A character named Malcolm Landgraab appears in The Sims 3 for Nintendo DS, where he is a young adult; and in The Sims 3 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, where he is an adult. It is not established that either of them are the same person as the Malcolm Landgraab from the PC version of The Sims 3, who is a child. The two have very different traits, so it is possible that they are either not the same person or do not exist in the same continuity.
Life leading up to The Sims 3 (Nintendo DS)
In The Sims 3 for Nintendo DS, Malcolm Landgraab's family founded the town of Beacon Bay. In this game, he is married to self-professed gold digger Bambi Landgraab, and is a gene therapist. This implies that, if he is the same person as the Malcolm Landgraab from the PC game, followed his father into medicine instead of his mother into business.
Unlike the child Malcolm from the PC game, he has dark skin, black hair, and brown eyes. The two have no traits in common. Like Alex Goth's presence in the game and Holly Alto's turn toward evil, this is assumed to be an on-purpose paradox.
Life leading up to The Sims 3 (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3)
In The Sims 3 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Malcolm lives in Moonlight Bay, and is married to Hannelore Landgraab. They have a teenaged son named Adrien. He is in politics and his wife is in business.[3] Three of his traits are the same as those of the Malcolm Landgraab from the PC game, so he may be the same person. However, this is not clearly established.
