Meat Grinder is a large male dog owned by Coach Grinder from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. He is an adult Pit Bull Terrier and wears a teal collar. In the Best in Show story, Coach and Meat compete in the SimCity Dog Show together against Alice Whitt and her dog Sam. He first appears in the story at Playground for Precious, where Alice arrives with her dog Sam to registrate for the dog show.

He appears at The Show Park where the dog show qualifications for the SimCity final take place. Coach and Meat Grinder are participating first, right when Alice arrives. Melissa Carter and her dog Bruno are up next, followed by Alice and Sam and Diana DeBore and Precious. After everyone finished, Meat and Bruno get into a fight, which caused both of them to be disqualified from the dog show. As a result, Alice and Sam go through to the finals at Bartholomew Greens.

Coach and Meat live in 1364 Dargail Lane and become playable from there after the story. Meat has a memory of losing a fight from Indie Thornton, which happened before the story. Meat is interested in Scary Things.
