Special Life State?[edit source]

I dont know if I am right, but I think that Social Bunny is a special Life State unachievable by regular Sim. Why? Here are my explanations:

  1. He doesnt have any voice.
  2. He has special walk animation.
  3. He can teleport.
  4. Even with allMenus on, interactions other that ones from base game are not available (like Savage, Cast Spell, Bite Neck, Prank, Talk about Hobby,...)
  5. I think (but I am not sure) that even with Shift+Click, he can not be made selectable.

Doubtful. Social Bunny is just a case of special NPC with its own purposes. A Sim cannot become a Social Bunny, and a Social Bunny cannot become playable. Of course, this is the same case as Genie, but Genie can be considered different since they are the only different creature that came with FreeTime. After all... the bunny suit is just a hidden outfit and the bunny head is a hidden hairstyle that can be unlocked through debug mode. Let's just say they're Sims in a bunny costume. Is it just me or not? I have gotten the Social Bunny to bring the Social all the way up before by adding the queue with the "Chat" interaction. If your conversation stops JUST before it reaches the halfway point, he will stay until it goes almost or ALL the way up.Frogz2007 (talk) 13:04, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

It's just a costume and a few special interactions. If you use Debug Mode, you get his head and body, and with mods/hacks or the AllMenus cheat, you can use his intercations 94.1.188.247 (talk) 21:58, October 24, 2014 (UTC) Call me Summer!

Under the bunny mask[edit source]

Well i was thinking, do the Social Bunnies have faces under their bunny masks? How do they look, i'm guessing they look the same as other townies? And that the Social Bunnies in Veronaville are different from the Social Bunnies in Strangetown and the others in Pleasantwiew? And that custom hoods use the Pleasantwiew Social Bunnies? Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 10:08, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

I don't know about these NPCs yet, but they might be like some random Sim with unusual skin tones. Much more like doing it to the Grim Reaper in TS3. ~~.ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) | (my mistakes) 10:15, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
They have Genetics like normal Sims but you can't see what they look like under the masks. They are like invisible people dressed in costumes that are not invisible. It might be possible to make them visible by changing their appearance using the NPC and Townie Maker with Apartment Life installed, though I haven't tried it yet. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 10:19, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
Or even with SimPE! Extract them, and then see them under their masks! Could be good. Same for the Grim Reaper, if you remove the cloak he's just a townie with an invisible face. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 07:38, September 11, 2014 (UTC)
I must admit, I hadn't thought of extracting the Social Bunnies' appearances in SimPE. But that would be pointless because they have no unique facial features - one of the 27 default Maxis face templates (except the 26th template a.k.a the "elf ears" template).
As for the Grim Reaper, he is actually gender confused because the game depicts him as a male, but if you use the NPC and Townie Maker to change his appearance, one can see that he has the appearance of a female. In case you haven't already tried it - you shouldn't tamper with the Grim Reaper in any way or form, as it can cause irreversible problems in your game. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:48, September 11, 2014 (UTC)
Because these Sims were never intended for you to tamper with anyway... don't expect your findings to make much sense here. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 10:43, September 11, 2014 (UTC)
Well.... just for those people that it does make sense to. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 10:48, September 11, 2014 (UTC)

Friend bug[edit source]

I've yet to have the "friend bug" happen to me. Not that I want it, but I am curious on if this can actually happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.129.121.245 (talkcontribs) 23:22, August 30, 2016‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I'm not sure, since I've never experienced it myself. But someone's reported it, and the information has been in the article for a very long time, and there's no signs that the information isn't true, so I presume that it can happen. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:30, August 30, 2016 (UTC)
