A teddy bear is a plush toy which children can play with. Older Sims can talk through the teddy bear with other Sims.

The Sims 2

The Durably Plush Teddy Bear is a toy in The Sims 2. It is available in the Misc. > Children section of Buy mode for §49. The Sims 2: FreeTime adds two versions of the Paw-crafted Teddy Bear. All three bears are identical except for color, but they are treated as three separate objects. FreeTime also allows Sims with at least a Bronze talent badge in Sewing to sew Little Bear Boo for §56. Sewing a teddy bear allows the player to choose patterns that are not available in buy mode, but sewn bears are otherwise identical to those bought in buy mode.

Toddlers and children can play with a teddy bear, and children can carry one. Older Sims can talk through a teddy bear.

The Sims 3

There are multiple varieties of Wugglesworth Schnuggles Bears, including the Mummified Teddy Bear introduced in The Sims 3: World Adventures, and several other versions sold in TheSims3.com Store. Eight new variations were introduced in Supernatural, under the name "Scary Bearys".

When the toy is in a Baby or Toddler's inventory it will automatically appear in that Sim's crib when they are asleep. In buy mode it is always standing, and in live mode it is always sitting down.

Adult Sims can use the 'Talk Through' interaction on this toy to play with young Sims.

In The Sims 3: Showtime there is a large statue prop of a bear called Senior Wugglesworth. The object can be purchased in buy mode. This statue was probably named after the original teddy bear.

If several Magical Vampire Gnomes are on the lot, they will transform any available teddy bear into a clone of themselves. The bear will still function the same.

Despite only the Werewolf, Witch, Fairy, (and to some extent) Vampire life states being introduced in Supernatural, several of the other Occult life states are included as part of the "Scary Bearys" set.

Wugglesworth Schnuggles Bear is a toy and the default teddy bear in The Sims 3.

This object raises a Sim's fun and social motives. It has three recolorable channels. Players can rename the teddy bear whatever they like.

If a Toddler, Child, or Sim with the Childish trait sleeps with a Wugglesworth Schnuggles Bear in their inventory they will get the Cuddle Time moodlet.

It has a fun rating of 6.
