Width of Admin Portal

On an oddly related note, can you please go to my test page and help me with figuring out #if statements (specifically related to displaying a WikiButton with custom background color on my talk page)? I've been trying any conceivable combination of text, bars and {{!}} templates to produce the desired effect (that is, that the field {{{color}}} be an optional field on my test page template); I've been working on it for over an hour and I have no idea what I am doing wrong and I frankly don't have the energy to continue to slave away on it, or to try and decipher this page anymore. The logic seems so basic that I feel honestly very dumb for not having figured it out by now, but I am literally clueless at this point.

A morris, I want to thank you for founding this wiki, it inspired me to start my own wiki to keep track of and properly plan my TS3 worlds. I'm still a total n00b at wiki-editing, so I have drawn a lot of my knowledge from the pages here and there are obvious similarities that I'm gradually scaling away as I learn more:

Problems with Sim template

Hi. Somewhere something is messed up to where one of the Sim templates (possibly {{Sim3}}). I tried undoing Eduardog's edit but that didn't fix the issue. The template (whichever one is bugging up) is causing the Sim's favorite food and favorite color categories to red-link to categories where the favorite item is given in lowercase instead of upper case (for example: Category:Sims that love Aqua in the "correct" set-up, to Category:Sims that love aqua in the current set-up). Since those pages with lowercase names don't exist, they show up as red links.

Sorry I can't be a little more technically descriptive, but I'm not really sure what's causing this mess or how to address it. If you need an example of what I'm saying, take a look at the pages for any Sim from TS3. - LostInRiverview ^{talk · blog} 18:57, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

I have changed the {{Favorites}} to lowercase as that is the proper case when naming categories. I am also going to changing them the to Category:Sims who love aqua. and another thing, I want to create a family tree of my sims. I downloaded the mega hood and want to connect all the families and make a family tree of it. I think it would be cool to see, and then to have myself do it, HOT DOG! lol but anyway, your family trees, how do you pull the icons of those sims? If thats to vauge Ill detail it. You have a fmaily tree of the smith's and Jenny's picture is in its respected place, that picture of her came from where in the files?

Community Portal

I'm glad to see you like the Community Portal redesign. I had started work on it yesterday afternoon and (thankfully) BobNewbie started working with me on it; in this case, two heads were definitely better than one, and I'm really pleased with the result, though I have made a couple changes since we went "public" with it.

My thought is that in order for the page to really live up to its potential, we need to start treating it like a hub and a resource center. That's why we added things like Community News, and a section for the poll and contest (which are off the Mainpage at the moment). Additionally, I added in a spot for community notices (I created a {{Community-Notice}} template), so if you ever have something you need to post or make known, feel free to add a message there.

I'm sure Bob and I will still be tweaking things a bit as we gather the opinions of the other users. If you see something odd or something which bugs you, feel free to join in tweaking as well! - LostInRiverview ^{talk · blog} 21:24, December 28, 2010 (UTC)

Great change Propose

I want to propose you a great change on templates of sims from Sims 3 and sims 3 sections, could you please see this article in Les Sims Wiki, Cornelia Goth, I love the way it's organised, and I would like to propose that we could put images of icons for example bookworm in people who have the bookworm trait, unflirty would display for example File:Unflirty.jpg, just an example, I think it would be good if you had images and icons in templates, can you make such definition, please tell me what you think. Error 404 page

An unregistered user with the IP

77.71.146.5 (Sorry about the unnecessary line break, my computer just did that for some reason) has been creating sexually explicit pages.
All the admins on other wikis I've been to are quite quick, so the pages may already be deleted.
So far, this user has created "Vagina Discomfort" which just contains a lot of gibberish, and "The Lesbian Family"

Facebook Contest

Forumheader

Hey A morris, do you think you can help with the {{Forumheader}} template? I tried editing it a 2nd forum title, but the categorization isn't working properly. Say, if a Forum thread is in the Questions forum, the Forumheader would be: Forums: Index → Central Park → Questions → (Thread Name). However, due to the categorization error, the thread gets both the Central Park and Questions categories, which screws up the thread list on the Forum pages.
