VisualEditor on Battle Pages

I noticed that you had a hard time with the battle page because you were using VE. This happens a lot with the battle page and that is why there is a warning about using VE to cast a vote. RE: SimsFanonStories Wiki

I don't know the details, sorry. All I know is that it was closed down, because of a problem caused by a disruptive user. Wikia staff decided that it was best to just close the wiki down, rather than solve the issue the hard way. There are a couple of other wikis however that you could join, that are used for the same purpose. My own wiki can be used to make Sim fanons, or just about anything, as long as it's appropriate. Hey, I noticed that you said that you have The Sims Life Stories, and I was wondering if you could tell me what trousers Phoenix Almassizadeh wears. RE: Strange(?) Question about Veronaville

It's really up to you. But if you want it to be Beatrice and Hal Capp, Hal will have to be the one proposing the marriage, and if you want it to be Hal and Beatrice Monty, you will need to make Beatrice the one who proposes.

When I make a Capp marry a Monty in my game, I always have the Capp initiate the marriage, with the Monty taking the Capp last name. But then I always use SimPE to change their last name back to Monty.

In my game Goneril Capp married Antonio Monty, and Antonio took Goneril's last name. But since I didn't want Antonio's last name to change, I used SimPE to change his last name.

Also one more thing. If you ever want to change a Sim's name with SimPE, make sure it's their last name you change, not their first name. To change their first name, you will need to do it with the Tombstone of Life and Death. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:36, June 13, 2015 (UTC)

Not explaining your reverts 

Hello. I've noticed that there have been numerous incidents in which you did not provide a valid edit summary when reverting an edit that is not considered to be vandalism. Diffs include: [1] [2] [3]. By definition, vandalism is any "deliberate attempt to destroy or harm the wiki." Vandalism does not include misguided edits or edits made by confused editors. If the edit is vandalism and it is very clear that it is nonconstructive and made in bad faith, an edit summary is not required. Otherwise, please always use a proper edit summary to explain your reverts in order to avoid misunderstandings. The issue is likely due to a server cache showing you an outdated version of the page. In that case, try purging the page. Request for Rollback

Congratulations on your successful nomination for rollback! Thought I might give you a short introduction on the rollback tool.

Rollback is a feature of the MediaWiki software that runs many websites, namely Wikipedia and Wikia. It allows all consecutive edits made by one user to be undone in one click.

What rollback does. Rollback only works on the latest edit (current revision) in an article. If you click on rollback, it acts immediately. Instructing the server to perform rollback will revert all consecutive edits made by one user to the last revision not made by that user. For instance, if User A made 6 edits in a row to The Sims 2, and no one else edited after them, using rollback will revert all 6 of those edits to the last edit not made by User A.

When to use it. Because rollback does not allow for a custom edit summary, it should only be used for obvious vandalism. It should not be used to revert good faith edits or edits that have good intentions. If a good faith edit needs to be reverted, use the undo function or manually revert the edit and provide an explanation in the edit summary.

You can use rollback to:

• Revert obvious vandalism
• Revert your own edits (AKA self-reverting)
• Revert edits in your own userspace (e.g. your userpage or your user talk page)
• Revert a large amount of edits that are deemed unhelpful, such as a malfunctioning bot, as long as an explanation is posted somewhere, perhaps at the talk page of the bot.

What if I accidentally click it? It happens, because rollback works instantly. If you do accidentally rollback an edit you didn't intend to revert, just manually revert the edit and explain it was a mistake.

What else do I do after reverting vandalism? It's not strictly required, but it would be appropriate to warn the vandal on their user talk page. You can either use a hand-written warning or, now that you are a rollbacker, you can use the pre-made warning templates.

Signature 

Thank  you, thank you, thank you so much for the signature!! I love it! It has my favorite color which is purple in it. I'm having trouble getting it to work though. I'm probably doing something wrong. I go into source mode, copy the entire signature. Then I go onto preferences, check for wiki text and then copy/paste my signature. When I click to Save, I get the error message of "Invalid Raw Signature. Check HTML tags" I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Should I ask one of the admins what I'm messing up with? I'm confused. Nowhere in the discussion does it say that the votes weren't reset after each round, and after each round, in practice, we reset the votes for every remaining nominee. I apologize if I seemed like I was crying wolf. Another wikia I was part of in the past (under another (deactivated) username) had succumbed to another site that blantantly started copying all its articles before that wikia started to become nearly abandoned (with some users that made the new "wiki" deleting or vandalizing most of the articles on the original one). I just wanted to alert someone else to the potential "danger", instead of waiting until it is far too late again. I am also unable to observate for a long time, as I have other priorites at the moment, which means I won't be able to keep monitoring that site, or be on this site actively. Also, there were some recent news that some people were being paid to modify wiki pages, either for malicious acts or just to make sure the article stays, so I was kind of being extra cautious... I feel confident with adding links, grammar, spelling and capitalization fixes as well as double checking info. When it comes to more advanced editing, I get nervous. Re:Sims 2 pre-made startup football team

This is interesting :) Most of them are teens, and it's quite evenly split throughout the 3 Base Game Hoods. Now I'm trying to imagine Nervous crossing the ball for Loki to score :D

Nervous' Active score makes him a good runner, while Loki's Neat (Shot Accuracy) is a better asset than his Nice (Aggressive defender, very likely to be sent off).

It's also cool that Hermia got picked over Romeo or Dirk... :)

Let's say the 3 Base Game Neighborhoods decided to compete against each other. However, the Capps and Montys are still feuding, so one family decides to join with Pleasantview, and the other with Strangetown.

One exception is Kent Capp, who has openly defected to Camp Monty. The Summerdreams can join any side they like.

What will "Pleasantview-Veronaville" vs "Strangetown-Veronaville" Starting XI and 3 substitutes be? :)

Can I suggest that Vidcund Curious be a starter, and Regan Capp be either a starter or sub, as I can include some of their STM aspects in it too?

If PV-Capp-Summerdream (Team PVCS) has 2 Assistant Coaches, then ST-Monty (Team STM) should also appoint another Assistant Coach. Maybe Jenny?

Grammar Mistakes

Hello! So, on the Flower City page, I noticed some grammatical mistakes such as in the van den Berg family, so I fixed it, if you don't mind it ;) but for your future fanons/edits or anything:

These three brothers from The Netherlands both have the same ambition, to become a well-paid scientist. But are they smart enough to become one?

Since you are talking about 2+ people, you use All , Both is used for two people, and also To become a well paid scientist, should be To become well-paid scientists, and during the end.. But are they smart to become one? you are referring to all the three boys, but you said One, for a suggestion it should be something like that.. Are they smart enough to become what they aspire?
