Valerie Chin is one of the pre-made carpool drivers that resides in Riverblossom Hills, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Seasons. The other two carpool drivers are Shannon Curtin and Victor Hanby. Like all carpool drivers, she can't be made playable without cheats.

Valerie has the same facial structure as Claire Walton. She has brown hair, dark blue eyes, and dark skin. Valerie can easily be cloned in Create a Sim with debugging mode on. Her Aspiration is Knowledge, and her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. There is no evidence that she is related to Gretchen Chin. As far as personality, Valerie is quite outgoing, playful, and nice, but she is somewhat lazy, and very sloppy.

When it comes to her skill points, Valerie has maximized the cleaning skill, and is close to maximizing the body skill. She is mostly interested in Weather, Paranormal, Crime, and Work. Unusually for a pre-made NPC, Valerie has the memory of meeting another NPC, as well as having a pre-set relationship with him. What is even more unusual is that Valerie is a carpool driver and thus, she can not be interacted with.
