The Sims: Hot Date, The Sims 2: Nightlife and The Sims 3: Late Night are expansion packs with largely the same scope, but some difference. This is a comparison between the latter two.

In The Sims 2, private cars were first introduced in Nightlife, but in The Sims 3 they exist from the base game.

- Penthouse (similar to Apartments in The Sims 2:Apartment Life)

- Neighborhood called Bridgeport not Downtown, and not a sub-region.
