• He shares his surname with the Girard family from The Sims 3: World Adventures.
• In her last email, Celeste writes that she and Damien went on a cruise. This might have accually been the Queen Solomon cruise ship of the Shipwrecked and Single story from The Sims Castaway Stories. Since they don't appear in that story, it would suggest that Celeste and Damien die when the ship crashes and eventually sinks. Which explains why Celeste and Damien never get back.
