''Fatima Simovitch spent her youth hanging out with rock n' roll musicians and putting together a band for a gig or two. When she met Vadim, she chose her desire for family over her dreams of stardom. But she has never really forgotten them...''
Fatima Simovitch is a premade Sim, she is the deceased mother of the famous Betty Newbie, and grandmother of Brandi Broke in the Sims 2. She is a playable character in The Sims 3.
Her actual ethnicity is not known, but it is rumored she is of Arab descent, since her name means "one who wears an infant" in Arabic.
Fatima is an adult and lives in Riverview with her husband Vadim and her daughter Betty. She gave up her dream of becoming a rock star to run a family, but hopes her daughter will live up to her dream - and still plays her guitar and hopes to live on it herself. She wears a light pink dress. Her hair is blonde with dark roots, which implies that she dyes it. She has 3 points of cooking, 4 points of charisma, 7 points of guitar skill and works as a Report Processor (level 3) in Business career.
Life leading up to The Sims 2
By the time the story has caught up to The Sims 2, Fatima, her husband, and her daughter are long deceased due to old age. Her granddaughter Brandi had since married the deceased Skip Broke and had two sons, Dustin and Beau Broke, with a third on the way when the game begins. When editing her in SimPE, her hair genes are for black hair. This probably proves that she dyed her hair in The Sims 3, though she apparently let it go gray some time before her death.
