?[edit source]

My teens(4) live alone with thier younger child and toddler sibling. Thier mother died from hunger and I thought it is a glich? Can someone help me please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.81.74.22 (talk) 02:28 2 May 2011 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

It's not a glitch. The game is fine, and some players actually use this feature to make interesting stories. --WoganHemlock (Talk to meeee!!) 05:22, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Glitch?[edit source]

One of Teenage girl (both of  her parent died from fire at Specter Lot) is living alone with three younger sim (one child and two toddler). But when I click either of toddler, It didnt said Teach "Sim Name" to Walk/Talk, only you can teach is Potty Train. Is this is glitch? Because It normal to teach a toddler to walk and talk. Child ages to Teen[edit source]

I've always liked it when a Child Sim ages into a Teenage Sim. It's like a six year old suddenly exploding into a fifteen year old! ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:59, February 11, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, but I think children generally express people between the ages of 7-10. Joey.eyeball (talk) 08:05, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, but in general I consider babies to be 0-1, toddlers 2-4, children 5-12, teenagers 13-19. Even though most people don't tend to look at it that way. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:10, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
That's why Pescado, a modder, always refers the children to 6s and teens to 12s, because they're never beyond that age. That would make sense, actually. Nikel Talk Vote! 15:35, February 16, 2014 (UTC)

Weird Age Up[edit source]

I just had a child sim age up in my game. Only it there seemed to be something wrong. When I would click on something for the sim to interact with, there was no head icon. Then when the sim would spin to change clothes, it went invisible. Thinking that exiting and then returning to the game would reset the sim, I did so only to find my sim a stretchered child. Exiting the same and returning made my sim a floating child. I don't know what happened or how to fix it so my sim is a proper teen like it should be. Icemandeaf (talk) 20:39, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

I didn't really want to because I know that using cheats can cause things to go very wrong if done wrong and because I didn't use cheats to begin with, but it was the only solution I could find. I had to use the sim modder to age by sim back to a child and then use the L&D Tombstone to make my sim age up to a teen. Seems to work now. I hope nothing goes wrong after this... Icemandeaf (talk) 21:53, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
If you age your Sim up via Cheats, and then for some reason you delete them, exit the Household and re-load it, the Sim in question will look like the age they were before you deleted them, but the game will still recognize them as the age they were before you aged your Sim. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:01, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
That's what I kept finding online, but I hadn't done that. Ironically, that is what brought my sim back. Icemandeaf (talk) 22:18, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
I'm not exactly certain what you are trying to say, but I can make a pretty good guess. If you tamper with their ages in any way, other than just aging them up and leaving them, then their ages may become ambiguous. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:43, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
I didn't do anything to age up my sim in the beginning. It was the day that he was supposed to age up on his own. I know that trying to age them up makes things go weird. Which is why I didn't want to use it as a fix, but it was the only thing that seemed to work after trying other methods. I just hope that it isn't going to mess anything up for me later on. I guess I'll find out. Icemandeaf (talk) 22:49, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
In that case, I don't think I can answer your question. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:31, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

Teens are able to WooHoo in the Sims 4[edit source]

"Mess around" increases the WooHoo statistic. So shouldn't the page mention the fact they are functionally identical? They still cant have babies though. Skyte100 (talk) 16:19, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

If they can't have babies, then it isn't identical. At least not in EA's view or in the view of game rating. That being said, mentioning the back that messing around increases the WooHoo stats would probably be better on the WooHoo page than on the teen page. - Icemandeaf (talk) 16:25, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
There is no teen pregnancy, not without the use of mods (like the InTeenimater). Doing so would raise the game rating to M. But if it is kind of the teen-version of WooHoo... does it go on the WooHoo page or on a separate page of its own? --k6ka (talk | contribs) 19:18, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
I need a video of this. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 20:43, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
No video, but them Maxoids - [1] --k6ka (talk | contribs) 20:50, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
I'd say that it is functionally the same seeing as you have to use a seperate command to have a child anyway. If anyone wants to test it out yourself just make a couple Teens, activate testing cheats, and use this: "Modifyrelationship YourSim(first name) YourSim(last name) TargetSim(first name) TargetSim (last name) (-)50 Track_Type" Track_type being Friendship_Main or Romance_Main. Skyte100 (talk) 21:34, September 8, 2014 (UTC)
I don't own the game nor have I ever seen the interaction in action, but if "mess around" is meant to be a depiction of teenage WooHoo... Then I think it's appropriate to mention it in WooHoo page. What does "mess around" do, actually? Nikel Talk Vote! 13:32, October 6, 2014 (UTC)

Prom Picture[edit source]

I know this is seriously random, but I'm wondering who the teen boy and girl in the prom picture at the top of the page is. The teen boy looks like Ethan Bunch, with dyed brown hair, and the teen girl looks like Betty Simovitch a little bit. 2.121.19.152 (talk) 12:27, February 1, 2015 (UTC)

I don't think either of 'em are sims who have a wiki page here. I'm guessing they're CAS preset sims that were aged down. They do have Ethan and Betty's hair, but they aren't them. (or even share the exact facial structure) Is that even the Sunset Valley school? The rabbithole is Community School for the Gifted, but the stairs and such don't match Sunset Valley. Does it match Barnacle Bay or Hidden Springs? Maybe it does'nt match any of the three, and thus said lot does'nt exist, and said sims don't exist either. Also the school rabbithole's on a foundation. I don't think any school in any of the town is on a foundation. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 22:00, April 24, 2015 (UTC)
Wait what, what if these are Gwen Glover and Holden Wonzy? Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 23:10, April 24, 2015 (UTC)

Strange[edit source]

I have a teen in my game and because I aged him up to an adult because it was an option (because if a child grows into a teen, the bar would still be filled for 2 seconds). Now I can't choose an aspiration. I found it funny and laughed very hard. So I spawned an apiration reward. But he can't choose another aspiration. It's really annoying please help me because it's a family that I use for a challenge. Sims Player (talk) (mistakes) 08:27, July 4, 2015 (UTC)
