Su family

Hi Auror. I previously moved Su family to Su family (Lunar Lakes) since there are now 2 of the same families. Licensing Images

Regarding to the message you left for TheSims23, I think there's some kind of issue with the image upload. The file will not be automatically copyrighted even if you already choose it. RE: Licensing Images

May I ask which image I didn't licence? I ask because I remember that I licensed all the images except this one but only because it was supposed to go in a gallery and there was no option for licencing. Simming is my Life! _Talk 11:16, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

It turns out that what Nikel said above is true. There's some kind of issue with the image upload. I went to this page and all pictures of mine that weren't licensed, were uploaded by clicking 'Add photo' (1st pic.) while pictures that I uploaded by clicking 'Photo' (2nd pic.) on the page have normal licence. RE:Category:Ghost

Hey Auror! Sorry if I'm confusing you about that, but what I've noticed is that on a lot of pages the Sim is listed as deceased in their playability, but it says they have the Normal life state. What I was doing was fixing that: it doesn't matter if they don't have a tombstone or if they don't show up as a ghost. If they are deceased, then shouldn't they be labeled as ghosts? Notice about the Warning template

Hello fellow administrator. I wanted to make you aware of an upcoming changeover regarding the {{Warning}} template. You can see the discussion of this change here.

Starting now, a new warning template will be available for use. This template is currently available at {{NewWarning}}. However, on April 2, the new warning template will be moved to {{Warning}} and the old warning template will be retired. Please use this transition period to test out the new template before the full changeover. In the period leading up to the changeover, please report any bugs or issues, and offer any suggestions, in the new template discussion

The new template does away with the <reason> parameter of the old template. You can now make your warning more specific by filling in the <type> parameter. Type will automatically load in text depending on the type and the level you select. Additionally, certain types have multiple 'levels', ranging from 1 to 3, with 1 being the least severe, and 3 being the most severe phrasing of the warning message itself. The types are:

• Vandalism (entered as 'vandal#') warns against making non-constructive edits. The 'vandal1' message is the template's default message if no type is entered.
• Blanking pages or sections (entered as 'blank#') warns against removing content from entire pages or sections of pages.
• Removing content (entered as 'remove#') warns against removing useful and accurate content from pages.
• Violating file policy (entered as 'file#') warns users that upload files or images in violation of the Image and File policy.
• Disruptive behavior (entered as 'disrupt') warns users that attack other users, engage in edit warring, etc.
• Sockpuppetry (entered as 'sock') warns users that are suspected of having control over multiple unauthorized accounts.
• Additionally, there is a custom option available if none of the pre-existing types suit your needs. If you choose to use a custom message, the <type> parameter should be set to 'custom' and the optional <custom> parameter will hold your message. If <type> says anything other than 'custom' and the <custom> parameter is filled in, the custom message will not display.

So, to sum it up, the parameters are:

<type>: You should fill this parameter in, unless you're alright with displaying the default, non-specific warning text.

<custom>: Fill this in only if you've filled in 'custom' under the <type> parameter; otherwise, leave this blank.

<sig>: This parameter is mandatory - include your signature here.

<other>: If you want to include additional information to the recipient, you can fill in this parameter. The text you enter will appear below your signature but above the 'boilerplate' message at the bottom of the notification.

One last thing... remember to substitute the template, just as you do when you use {{Warning}}. This is to ensure that any future changes to the template don't alter how it appears on user talk pages.

RE: Malcolm Landgraab's lifetime want

Woah, that's pretty old. I almost had no idea what you were talking about. I *was* going to check that with SimPE too, but since SimPE always takes a long time to load the stuff, I kept postponing that... even until now. Because I used to play Uber-Megahood and thought Malcolm's LTW was to earn §100,000, I thought the info was wrong. Then I recalled it just now that I used Sim Modder to change the entire residents' LTWs to suit their personality.

Re: Sims 3 Headshots

I used the program S3PE (link here to download). Once installed, enter the game, select the family and send the Sim to change appearance, or change clothes - open the CAS somehow. Save the Sim (clicking in the thumbnail), quit game, open S3PE. Open the file "Name of Sim.sim3", it's saved in the SavedSims folder. Click on the SNAP resource whose headshot you want to select. Select Export -> To File. Specify the location you want to save it to. It's done, with a detail, the image has a transparent background, but just use any photo editor to darken.

One more thing. Do you would like I add the headshots of Sims with black background (Sims of Lucky Palms, Sunlit Tides, Monte Vista, Hidden Springs etc)? Wrong informations about Zo Curious

Why are you putting a template which says that Zo can be resurrected? She has no character data and will cause an error if you resurrect her by that way? Resurrecting tip

Can I put this method on Game Guide: Resurrecting tips under Using SimPe section?

Relinking Sims

Some Sims have no grave, but still have character data. This method can be used to resurrect them. (Requires FreeTime or University)

1. In SimPe, open the neighborhood where Sim lived before death. (Use ctrl+shift+n to open Neighborhood Browser quickly.)

2. Open the Sim in Sim Browser. (Use ctrl+shift+s to open Sim Browser quickly.)

3. In Plugin View, click on Other tab.

4. Find: Unlinked: 0x0001. Change it to: 0x0000.

5. Save the changes.

6. The Sim should now be seen as resurrectable when their relative uses Resurrect-O-Nomitron or Genie Lamp.

This method will work on: Skip Broke, Frida Goth, Prudence Crumplebottom, Andromache Thebe, Eetion Thebe, Queen Thebe and Priam Albion.

While reffering Glabe as Glarn ´s ex wife, i have added (possibly) to avoid confusion. She´s most likely his ex, according to family photos and storyline. It´s best to reffer as his ex. She will be in his family tree if she´s his sister. Mate1234 (talk) 06:27, July 17, 2013 (UTC)

She´s seen in family photo raising the twins, and they will recognize Glabe as their aunt (in SimPe), if she really is their aunt. However, they don´t recognize her as one, so the only way to connect them as family, is considering Glabe as Glarn´s ex. For real? I don't recall any. Didn't I just remove the double apostrophes? If that's what you meant, I did that because I've included the apostrophes in {{Sim}} already.
