Cassidy Pederson is one of the pre-made bartenders in The Sims 2 who resides in Pleasantview and custom neighborhoods, (the other two being Juan McCullough and Gary Hiatt). Cassidy can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her.

Cassidy will usually not appear unless a bartender has been hired, or if a bar has been placed on an unowned community lot. But, like other service NPCs, she may occasionally appear at community lots. Cassidy has the same facial structure as Chloe Gonzaga from Strangetown. Even though she has brown hair, her natural hair color is actually red.

In Pleasantview, Cassidy will always have the personality points, skills, and interests shown below. However, they are always randomized when she is generated in custom neighborhoods. There is no evidence that Cassidy is related to Meadow Pederson. She, Kaylynn Langerak and Bella Goth from Strangetown, are the only regular NPCs in the base game that wear makeup.

Sometimes if Cassidy is made playable, her Plumbob will be inside her, instead of above her head. This happens with several other NPCs in The Sims 2.
