LOLSims[edit source]
This article is basically a tiny bit of information about a community created TS2 meme factory with literally every related image being hosted and displayed here anyway. Personally I don't think it's relevant enough to warrant its own article and it can easily be found from the TS2 website anyway. I'd say if we're going to mention it at all then it's better suited in it's own section on and/or a link to the webpage from TheSims2.com. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 13:31, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

Johnathan Lefre[edit source]
I can't really say much about this, since I don't have WA. The article itself somehow sounds like it's just a Sim that's mentioned in some promos. Just look at the picture. Nikel Talk – Vote for Featured Media! 08:28, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
- Seems real imo, but that said I'm not intending to walk around a neighborhood for an hour to see him. If someone could check the game strings or something for him that would be great. ―ฬђ talk 08:30, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

- I'm just going to go ahead and delete the page because he does not exist. Xxgreenbunnyxx checked and I've looked everywhere twice in that neighborhood and dungeons, so this Sim is just made up for promos. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻)ǝıuooɯɹɐʇsVOTE! 17:26, July 25, 2012 (UTC)

Businesses (The Sims FreePlay)[edit source]
In its current state, this article pretty much warrants deletion. I would have just deleted it straight away but given that in the case someone here has played the game and has knowledge about the involved businesses, they may want to work on the article. Otherwise we may as well delete it and someone who actually knows something about it can start over. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 23:24, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

Rebecca Goth[edit source]
There has only been one editor who contributes this page, who is an anon. The other edits don't really add any changes to the content, but rather only to fix the layout, which makes me suspect that she is not even real. Someone really has to prove her existence before anything related to the Goths and her is made, and eventually more theories emerge. Nikel Talk 12:15, June 14, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't have this game so I can't really say anything but if anyone does then please do some research, and maybe try to get an image, so that we have some proof that this Sim does merit some reference. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 10:21, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

Midlife crisis[edit source]
It shouldn't be deleted! So many people are looking for information on how to trigger a midlife crisis, this article provides solid information, and shows the point system.
- Actually if you look on List of Moodlets, the moodlet for the midlife crisis is there and tells you how it is triggered and some other information. Starmoonie(Talk Here) 02:24, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
- No, don't delete it. It's actually useful. The List of Moodlets says nothing about how it's triggered unless I missed something. It only gives the in-game description and the mood boosts and such.
- Did you look under the "From" section? It clearly states you get it from Young Adult to Adult transition but who knows, it may still be there. Starmoonie(Talk Here) 03:07, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Don't delete it, just give it a cleanup. Bakerychaz (talk page) 05:10, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

Forum:"The Sims 3: Seasons" Expansion Ideas and Forum:"The Sims 3: Glamour Life Stuff" Pack Ideas[edit source]
Alright, these pages are both about suggested expansion or stuff packs (i.e. not confirmed or legitimately rumored) and both simply say that the EP/SP should have the same exact content as a previous game. Hack Conflict Detection Utility[edit source]
The whole article is basically a couple of lines about a tool which doesn't really seem significant enough to warrant its own full article. If it warrants any sort of reference then I think it should just be mentioned on SimWardrobe where the tool is hosted, so I think we should delete this page or possibly redirect it to SimWardrobe. List of Sims[edit source]
The article List of Sims seems to me totally redundant, as we already have Category:Sims that automatically catalogs Sims in the game. Additionally there are the following issues which I believe warrant deletion:
- Page length/size - the page is very very long and size-wise is huge, at over 130,000 bytes, making it easily one of the largest pages on the wiki. For technical reasons, pages much beyond 50,000 bytes are not preferred (at least, on Wikipedia) so we're well beyond that guideline
- Manual Updating - Unlike a category, Sims need to be added to this list for each new game. Since we already have a hard time getting the Sim pages created for newer expansions, isn't having another page for cataloging a bit excessive?
- Out of Date - From what I can tell, only Sims from Sunset Valley and Riverview (for TS3) are included on this list, meaning that it would be necessary to add hundreds of new Sims to bring it up-to-date. This of course would involve a lot of work and would make the page even longer/larger.
The only saving grace I see for list pages is that they are easier to navigate for people unfamiliar with categories. But listing every Sim from every game on one article seems to me to be very excessive, so even if we chose to keep the other list pages (e.g. List of Sims from The Sims 2, List of Sims from The Sims (console)) this master list seems largely unnecessary. -- LiR speak ~ read 00:52, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
Types of death[edit source]
This list isn't very essential after all. The entire list has been included in death, and needlessly to say ghost too. While there's no real issue to delete it, I don't suppose there's a real purpose why we keep it as well. Due to this, I hesitate to do any action. :/ Nikel Talk – Vote! 12:55, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I support this deletion.14:13, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm in favor of keeping it. The information may be available elsewhere, but if someone just wants a quick at-a-glance overview, the list has the advantage of being compact. Dharden (talk) 14:23, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I think it will be better if the page will be a template, linking the deaths into the template.09:29, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
- I kinda agree with Dharden. I suppose it would still be good to keep it. :/ I guess I'm slight in favor to keep it. As for the template, I don't have anything to say for now. List of car owners[edit source]
I don't think there's anyone who wants to check who owns what vehicle in every single household, not to mention if they have to re-check it whether they "premadely" possess the vehicles at the first place, or somehow spawned. We can get rid of it straight, or just wait until anyone wants to update it. Personally, I go with option number one. Nikel Talk – Vote! 16:02, September 25, 2012 (UTC)

TheQuxxn[edit source]
I'm nominating this article for deletion, though I'm not sure if it should be deleted. We, as far as I know, have no other articles detailing 'well known' players or YouTubers. The last article that I believe we had - about Curtis Paradis - was ultimately deleted for lack of relevance. So I think the question here is whether or not The Sims Wiki should cover well-known Sims players. And, if we say that TSW should, then the question becomes what constitutes well-known.
Ultimately I'm neutral at the present time on deletion. I'd like to hear what others have to say. -- LiR speak ~ read 04:26, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
From The Author of The Page "TheQuxxn":
I was actually planning to write about some other Youtubers as well - like AndrewArcade, Sweetnightingale, and a couple of others who people enjoy. I just think that it would be cool to create some articles about Sims community members who are now making contributions to the Sims world through youtube. These people are creating really interesting things, like interesting families, awesome buildings, cool legacy challenge ideas, etc., and I know many people have been inspired by these creations. Also I find in the comments of Youtube that often people ask a ton of questions about the Youtuber - and the youtuber can't always reply to every single question, even though some try. So I thought it could also be a neat and organized way of compiling information about these Youtubers.
As for wether or not TSW should write about these people; I think they should. Being a simmer means you're part of a sharing community; this is a feature I've found repetedley since I started playing Sims. And these people who are making videos are very interesting, and have a lot to share; I think it could contribute a lot to TSW.
It's true that it's difficult to judge who counts as "Well-known"...of course you can judge people like Quxxn and Curtis very easily because everybody talks about them, but then there are people like Sweetnightingale, who creates a lot of amazing ideas and puts them into video, but she's not mentioned all over the Sims world like Quxxn is. But I think that's a matter that needs to be tackled seperately from wether or not this article should be deleted or not.
Anyway, that is my point of view on writing about famous simmers on youtube :) (Sorry for so many re-edits; I did this on my phone)
~JellyJelemy, author of "TheQuxxn" article.
I think we could move it to another type of page like a userpage, althought TheQuxxn isn't a user yet. 🌹Deathbee1000 07:33, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think moving it out of the content userspace would work. -- LiR speak ~ read 07:49, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
Well I say it should be deleted. This person has no account, and leaving this page will just say "Hey! any other Sim players who has walkthroughs or playthroughs (or any other videos) can create pages like this!" and will leave a huge mess. Star ಠ_ಠBee 11:01, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- JellyJelemy, the purpose of The Sims Wiki's mainspace is primarily to provide information about the games, not the community. (Communities may be more proper.) Yes, we do list a handful of custom content sites, with the understanding that no list can possibly be complete. Yes, we do have articles on a few relatively well-known custom content and/or information sites, but we do not, as a rule, have articles about custom content creators, no matter how well known they are, or how interesting their creations are. I am therefore opposed to a general practice of creating articles about famous-to-some YouTube Simmers, Even if those articles adhere to our Neutral Point of View policy, a proliferation of such articles might affect the perception that we are here to inform, not promote. Dharden (talk) 14:50, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- I'd say we delete it. I mean, sure TheQuxxn is a big Sim player, there aren't pages like PewDiePie on Amnesia:The Dark Decent Wiki (it was deleted due to the lack of quality, but it could have been expanded on by other users, which it wasn't) or Huskey Starcraft on the StarCraft Wiki, But like what Bee said, it was an unregistered user who created the page. It would create the green light for other users to do the same thing. AsherÉire I'm a lonely person, so please talk to me... 16:04, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- I think Devly was referring to the fact that the page is about a person who doesn't have an account here. The page itself was written by a registered user, User:JellyJelemy. There is no rule prohibiting anyone from creating pages right now, even unregistered contributors (and putting in such a rule might not be approved by Wikia).
- As for the matter at hand - the reason I'm neutral is because I do not necessarily think The Sims Wiki can't host this kind of information. At the same time, what Dharden said about the perception of The Sims Wiki - whether "we are here to inform, not promote" could very well become an issue if this article should remain. -- LiR speak ~ read 16:15, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't remember where Curtis Paradis' deletion discussion was held, but I'd say to delete it, as it's rather similar to his case. I don't think we can let each Simmer who makes CCs and creates walkthrough to warrant their own pages, as it appears to be subjective. Nikel Talk – Vote! 17:16, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
- From looking around, I've noticed we don't actually have a policy which outlines what is and isn't notable. I feel that it is almost vital that this is discussed in a forum thread and maybe have a formal notability policy established.

This article has been nominated since November 12, and appears to have been a straight lift from Golems on the TSM wiki, right down to the links linking to the TSM wiki. My inclination is to delete it, unless someone has a good reason not to. Dharden (talk) 00:20, December 26, 2012 (UTC)

Running with Scissors Playset[edit source]
This article has been nominated for deletion on the grounds that the website for The Sims 2 will close soon. I oppose deletion on two grounds. First, it may be mirrorored or archived, and therefore would remain available after the official website closes. Second, even if it does become unavailable, the article should be kept for reasons of history. Dharden (talk) 16:12, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
- I oppose deletion for those same reasons. However, I wonder if it would be possible to merge this page with another/others, since it is quite short on its own. If that's not possible or practical, I support keeping it as-is. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 17:30, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

Donte Perry[edit source]
I nominate this page for deletion. I suspect this Sim is nonexistent. It was created for a very long time and only has 5 revisions at least once per year. His existence is debatable and unclear, as he's not mentioned or linked anywhere, and it doesn't even mention where he's from. Each TS2 neighborhood already has a complete list of townies and NPCs, so if he's not from PC, where is he from? Nikel Talk – Vote! 15:39, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
- I haven't heard of him either and I don't remember him being in TS2 PS2. Unless he's a handheld character, I'd say he's part of the generic name pooling system and that we should delete if so. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 15:47, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Never heard of this Sim, the article seems to say highly contradictory things and the Japalan is not even the name of any Sim producer as said in the article (the right one being "Jayapalan", should the Sim exist at all.) JM9193 (talk) 20:51, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I suspect this (spelled properly) may be a randomly appearing name. Dharden (talk) 21:55, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
Some unused logos[edit source]
While I appreciate the uploader to find these logos, I can't find the actual games that use these. The logos are the following:
File:The Sims 3 Plus World Adventures Logo.pngFile:The Sims 3 Plus Ambitions Logo.pngFile:The Sims 3 Plus Late Night Logo.pngFile:The Sims 3 Plus Generations Logo.png
If the case is that the bundles simply don't exist, then I think there's no need to keep it. Thoughts? Nikel Talk – Vote! 14:47, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
- I just want to add a comment: I hate that EA doesn't keep a clear list of compilations in The Sims 3. I never heard of these games before, but I suppose EA released them to earn more money... Cavia (wheek • speak) 14:52, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
Simlish iPhone App[edit source]
So basically it's about an iPhone app that processes text into Simlish (similar to an Autotune voice processing app I guess). Given that it's unofficial and I've personally never heard of it, I'm leaning towards deletion but given it's most likely fan-created and somewhat a derivative from the series, I'd like to know what other's think before we make any decisions. - Delete! It's not official and it doesn't really belong here. This isn't an advertisement site. Cavia (wheek • speak) 18:28, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- I think it should be deleted, it's clearly been copied and pasted from a Facebook status. And as Vss has stated above, this isn't an advertisement site. HanaGoth96 (Neigh...?) 18:34, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- It's apparently real; at least, the first Google hit for the phrase is to an iTunes link for it. Still, it's not official, and the article is a plug for the app, which, IMO, puts it outside the guidelines. Dharden (talk) 18:41, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- This particular subject doesn't really fall into any of the listed categories on the Notability Policy... but I think it falls closest to 'player created custom content' since it's not a game modification. Based on that interpretation, I think the article fails to meet our Notability Policy and should be deleted. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 20:54, April 16, 2013 (UTC)

Untitled.png[edit source]
I've asked ParanormalJ about this file. I think we can wait a bit for a reply before deleting it. Dharden (talk) 14:47, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
