Clumsy is a lifestyle trait that was introduced in The Sims 4. It is only available for teens and older, and conflicts with the maker[TS4:EL] trait.

"These Sims tend to fail more often at physical activities and tend to laugh at failure instead of becoming upset."

Attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Clumsy Sims are less likely to trigger sad or angry emotions.
  • When they fail at something they're more likely to laugh, rather than cry and get upset.
  • Clumsy Sims have their own special playful moodlet associated with their trait.
  • Clumsy Sims are more likely to get electrocuted when repairing electronics.
  • Clumsy Sims have a chance of failure when engaging in sporting activities like Using a Treadmill, Ice Skating, Snowboarding or Skiing.
  • Clumsy Sims have a chance of stumbling when walking around - this will elicit a response from nearby Sims.
  • Clumsy Sims with higher Handiness have a lesser chance of breaking objects.
  • Clumsy Sims have a small additional chance of breaking certain electronic devices like the Computer, Research Machine, Juice Fizzer, Cupcake Machine, Games Console, Arcade Machine and Popcorn Maker.
