[[Loki Beaker|Loki]] and [[Circe Beaker|Circe]] thought long and hard if they wanted to experiment with parenthood. Both very dedicated to their science career and jealous of the [[Fanon:Curious family|Curious brothers]] for their achievements, made it hard to see if parenthood was the right step for the two. Besides, with [[Nervous Subject]] living in their home, it already kind of felt like they were parents (but perhaps in a less... ''ethical'' way). They decided to see if they were up for the challenge, and let fate -and lots of [[WooHoo|trying]]- determine their future chances on parenthood.
Kade's birth has led to a few controversies. Besides being a lot younger than most of his peers of the third generation, it also seemed like the end of the Curious alien-genes before he showed up. Despite all that, were his fathers [[Fanon:Nikto Curious|Nikto]] and [[Fanon:River Curious|River]] thrilled to have him around. Especially the latter was glad to see that the green glow he fell for with his partner was given to his little baby boy. Although slightly grossed out by her parents' late [[WooHoo|love-making]], his sister [[Fanon:Sarah Beaker|Sarah]] did see why Kade made such a cute little spectacle.


When nothing seemed to happen, Circe in a hopeless attempt, reconnected with her old schoolmate and Loki's rival [[Vidcund Curious]]. Hoping that a little seduction from her part would improve things with her career or personal life. He could possibly tell her more about this secret project he is working on, or help her out becoming a mother if needed. The two spend some time together, and her seduction seems successful as the two [[WooHoo]]. However Circe realizes that this was all a big mistake, and if she is getting a family she wants this to be with Loki. She apologizes to Vidcund and cuts all ties with him. If she only would have waited a few extra days she would have known everything about his secret study, as he would have invited her to become one of the scientists.
===Toddlerhood===
Although Nikto and River try their best, things don't go down as easy as they did when Sarah was younger. With a lot of cracking knees, stumbling on floors and pulling themselves up on furniture they teach Kade his [[toddler skill]]s. As River makes sure that Kade can walk and talk like a champ, Nikto is on a mission so he never has to change one more diaper. Kade does tend to get a lot of attention from the parents in the household, as most of the others are teenagers and don't want anything to do with thier parents anymore. This to much joy of Kade, who loves all the hugs, snuggles and kisses he gets from his family.


Circe's unfaithfulness is something she never talked to Loki about, but he always sensed something had happened to her. They lost track of Nervous for a while, and did not realize that he was spending quite some time with [[Pascal Curious]]. If they had, they possibly could have beaten the Curious Brothers to a lot of achievements that were put on their names later.

When Kade is old enough to get to school, it quickly becomes obvious that public school is nothing for him. Half of his days he spends bored out of his mind as he has already finished all his homework. Nikto and River, impressed but slightly unsure what to do, offer to put him into [[SimCity Academy|private school]], to which he accepts. He still aces everything at private school, but has more opportunities to get challenged in other ways, like escaping sports during recess or PA classes. He misses out on becoming friends with kids around his age as most of them think he is too dorky. He doesn't get too much time with friends at home either as most family members are either too old or too young to hang out with. Also his sister seems to occupied with her new [[Fanon:Jenson Beaker|boyfriend]] to really hang with him.


Eventually the two were successful, and got [[pregnancy|pregnant]], which made them refocus back on their careers, and bring back their energy to experimenting on Nervous with hopes they could conclude these before the birth of the baby. At this same time, Loki found an [[Bella Goth (Strangetown)|unknown woman]] in the deserts of [[Strangetown]], close to the path leading to their house. When he made sure she was okay, she told him that her name was Bella Goth, but that everything else was a giant blur. Intrigued by this, he took her home. Circe was not happy at first with this beautiful woman staying in their home, but when she heard her story from Loki, she smiled and realized that this was their chance to shine and impress Strangetown with their research.

Moving on to high school and still aces his education, Kade decides to find his entertainment somewhere else; he tries his best to find some friends and possibly dates. He meets [[Fanon:Alexander Curious|Alexander Goth]] and is immediately fascinated by his sad energy. The two become friends and even end up [[Going steady|dating]] each other, as Kade is fascinated with Alexander's life, while Alexander is fascinated with his.


When Jenson was born, Loki was thrilled with a son and immediately suggested a Scandinavian name like his own, to honor his family's roots. Circe agreed to this, as she hoped this would mean that Loki would enjoy spending time with Jenson more, so she could investigate whatever happened with Bella's memories. Her hopes seemed to have been coming true, as Loki was an amazing father figure for Jenson. He spend most of his time with him and even put his career on hold to teach him his various [[toddler skill]]s.
At this time his sister Sarah encourages him to go to [[university]], which he doesn't really care for at first. But then he realizes that it will open up a whole other world full of people that might just be as fascinating as himself and Alexander. He applies to a bunch of universities and ask Alexander to do the same. Even though Kade was accepted in some of the top universities in the world, he decides to go together with Alexander to [[La Fiesta Tech]]. His fathers are both very emotional when they drop him off, while Kade teases them it's only a few hours by car.


Growing older, Jenson realizes that his home situation is rather unusual. Not many Sims in Strangetown have two unrelated Sims in their house. And very few of those people have a bedroom that is half the size of Jenson's. Nonetheless Jenson feels loved by his parents. When his mother is at work, his father spends time helping him with his homework or doing some school project. He quickly learns that his mother is always busy and it is always work related, but that that doesn't mean she loves him any less. His father helps him get into [[SimCity Academy|private school]], and even helps him study even though he doesn't really like school that much. He notices that their roommate Bella slowly grows bigger and one day he sees her walking around with a [[Fanon:Alexander Curious|small baby]] in her arms.

Hoping to find more lost souls Kade [[major]]s in philosophy, but quickly gets overwhelmed by the incredible amount of lost Sims on campus. He is grateful that Alexander is around and even kind of misses his fathers a little bit. He aces [[college]] just like he did high school and although he gets challenged a lot more, he still things that some of the classes are too boring and easy. In one of his missions of missing another lost soul, he stumbles upon [[Fanon:Malta Curious|Malta Landgraab]], a suspiciously similarly looking [[alien]] who is not part of her family. Both surprised by their similar looks the two bond and create a great friendship, much to the disapproval of Alexander. Kade laughs it off stating that while he really likes Malta they simply get along because they come from the same place.


Even though Jenson asks a lot of questions about the things going on in the house, very little are answered. Jenson meets [[Fanon:Nikto Curious|Nikto]], [[Fanon:Klatu Curious|Klatu]] and [[Fanon:Lucifer Curious|Lucifer]] in high school, but his parents advice him to not hang out with the three boys and avoid the green fever that has been hitting Strangetown. The three graduate only shortly after him entering anyway, so he let it go and didn't think much of it.
For the next coming semesters, Kade seems to be getting more and more annoyed with Alexander's jealousy over his friendship with Malta, and the two have a fight ending with Alexander storming off and leaving campus. Thinking he will be back, Kade thinks not much of it and assumes Alexander is just being dramatic. Now with Alexander's negative energy not on campus, Kade realizes that his life is a lot better this way and sees the support he is getting from Malta, which he never got from Alexander.


After graduating he is not sure what he wants to do with his life, and stays for some time with his parents. He decides he is in need of more adventures before he wants to find a partner and settle down, so he starts his career in the [[adventurer]] career. Here he meets young [[Fanon:Sarah Beaker|Sarah Curious]], who is visiting one of his excursions with her class. Although she immediately stands out to him, he thinks that she is too young for him and turns her down when she asks for his phone number. This is the start of cat and mouse game that goes on for months, with the both of them attracting and denying each other.
Although he feels guilty about it, Kade falls in love with Malta and she answers his love. When Kade has not heard anything from Alexander at graduation, he sees this at a sign and suggests to Malta that they should move in together after graduation. Both his parents and his sister were there for graduation and he was incredibly ashamed, but secretly proud of all their crying. He was excited to introduce Malta to them, and they embraced her with open arms into their family.

When Sarah finally graduates high school, she asks Jenson out one more time and he finally agrees. They have a nice time, but Jenson is still not in a rush to start his family, as he is moving up the ladder in his career and sees that as more entertaining right now. It is only after months of dating that a slightly impatient Sarah asks what the two actually are doing right now. Still not getting the hint that Sarah wants something more than just casual [[WooHoo|lovemaking]], Jenson earns himself one promotion after the other, having amazing adventures that take him further and further away from Strangetown. It is then that Sarah gives him an ultimatum; either they move in together or things are over between then. Realizing he does not want to lose her at all, he agrees and moves in with the Curious household.

With the relationship between Sarah and himself becoming more serious, his relationship with his parents is in decay. They do not approve of Jenson being involved with a Curious member, especially with one that possesses [[alien|extraterrestrial]] genes in her system. Jenson laughs it off at first, but notices that especially his mother Circe pulls back whenever he tries to reach out. Whenever they visit his father Loki is cordial, but Jenson sees that Loki is not happy with their relationship. Stubborn like he is, Jenson commits to his relationship and tries to convince that Sarah is the only Sim for him and to not worry about two healthy human Sims being together.
Moving back to Strangetown, Kade and Malta find a home close to his sister Sarah and they become neighbors. Still not having heard anything from Alexander, Kade finally fully closes that chapter and proposes to Malta. She says yes and the two marry in a small but beautiful ceremony. Although Kade had invited Alexander, he did not show up to the wedding.


When time progresses his parents seem a little bit more at ease and even more welcoming towards Sarah. When Jenson finally proposes to her, Loki and Circe even seem excited at first. But when invitations and details are discussed, it is obvious that the two want to stay far away from the alien family. This saddens Jenson, but he decides to choose for his wife Sarah and their family and will not cut any corners to make his parents feel more at ease. The wedding -although a little tense- turned out to be well received by most family members and Jenson was over the moon to finally start his family. The two did not have to wait long as Sarah announced her pregnancy a few months after the wedding.
Thanks to his degree, Kade got a great job in the [[journalism]] career and found a passion for writing. Malta and himself were career passionate Sims, but also wanted to start their family. Malta was [[pregnancy|expecting]] to much joy of his parents. Unfortunately both of them died shortly before the birth of their twins [[Fanon:Yah Curious|Yah]] and [[Fanon:Matteo Curious|Matteo Curious]].


Baby boy [[Fanon:Lars Beaker|Lars]] was born not much later. Healthy, and with the same green skin as his [[Fanon:Nikto Curious|grandfather]]. Jenson was worried about what his parents would say, as he had promised them a human Sim, but also realized that he wouldn't want Lars any other way and thought he was perfect the way he was. Like predicted his parents did not take the news very well, and were very little involved with Lars until their deaths. Jenson was disappointed by this, as he had hoped that his father Loki would have connected the same way with his son as he had had with him.
Kade loves being a father a lot more than he expected, he teaches Yah his [[toddler skill]]s and loves spending time with the two boys, transferring his knowledge and see the world through the eyes of learning souls once again. When it comes to education, Kade follows the Curious tradition and puts both of them in [[SimCity Academy|private school]].


This was extra motivation for Jenson to give his boy all the love he could. He taught Lars how to walk and talk, and spend all of his time with him when he would not be at work. Sarah often joked that she could never come between her boys, even if she tried. The three were happy and enjoyed spending time together. Even though he knows his little boy is grown up, he can't help but be protective of him when the two announce that they are going to get married. After the third degree, and Sarah slightly scolding him for his overprotectiveness, he is happy to see the sweet couple tying the not. When Mandy announces that she is [[pregnancy|expecting]] Jenson is overjoyed to be able to experience grandfather life, and bond with his grandson the way his father never did with Lars. When [[User blog:DeSims/Strangetown families.#Beaker family|Lotus]] is born, Jenson spends most of his days spoiling the little guy. Unfortunately the two don't spend a lot of time together, as Jenson dies of old age when Lotus is a toddler.
With his boys growing up into men and his writing career being more successful than he could ever dream of, Kade decides to retire and spend his last few years with his wife Malta. He is happy to see that Matteo found his wife in high school sweetheart [[Fanon:Kendal Curious|Kendal Lawson]], but wonders why Yah has not made his move on his girlfriend [[Tina Roennigke (Strangetown)|Tina Roennigke]] yet.

Imagine his surprise when Yah finally told him that he was dating no one but [[Fanon:Alexander Curious|Alexander Goth]]. At first Kade was grossed out and confused, but after lots of explaining and promising that neither Yah nor Alexander knew how they were related to Kade, he realized that there was nothing he could do about it. Although not thrilled about his son's relationship he gave Yah and Alexander his blessing. When Kade met Alexander again after all these years, he did try to bring up what went wrong all these years ago, but Alexander shut him down and told him that whatever is in the past and he would like to move on with his new relationship.

Both Yah and Matteo got married to their partners close after each other and not long after that Yah and Alexander announce that they are [[pregnancy|expecting]]. When little [[Fanon:Max Curious|Max]] was born, Matteo and Kendal announced their pregnancy and gave birth to baby girl [[Fanon:Mara Curious|Mara]]. Kade loved being around the little bundles, as they reminded him so much of his own boys. Malta and himself loved being grandparents and babysat the kids as much as they could. Kade died peacefully of old age in his sleep.

Jenson Beaker was the son of Loki and Circe Beaker. He was important in the Curious family as the husband of Sarah Beaker (née Curious) and the father of their son Lars Beaker.

Loki and Circe thought long and hard if they wanted to experiment with parenthood. Both very dedicated to their science career and jealous of the Curious brothers for their achievements, made it hard to see if parenthood was the right step for the two. Besides, with Nervous Subject living in their home, it already kind of felt like they were parents (but perhaps in a less... ethical way). They decided to see if they were up for the challenge, and let fate -and lots of trying- determine their future chances on parenthood.

When nothing seemed to happen, Circe in a hopeless attempt, reconnected with her old schoolmate and Loki's rival Vidcund Curious. Hoping that a little seduction from her part would improve things with her career or personal life. He could possibly tell her more about this secret project he is working on, or help her out becoming a mother if needed. The two spend some time together, and her seduction seems successful as the two WooHoo. However Circe realizes that this was all a big mistake, and if she is getting a family she wants this to be with Loki. She apologizes to Vidcund and cuts all ties with him. If she only would have waited a few extra days she would have known everything about his secret study, as he would have invited her to become one of the scientists.

Circe's unfaithfulness is something she never talked to Loki about, but he always sensed something had happened to her. They lost track of Nervous for a while, and did not realize that he was spending quite some time with Pascal Curious. If they had, they possibly could have beaten the Curious Brothers to a lot of achievements that were put on their names later.

Eventually the two were successful, and got pregnant, which made them refocus back on their careers, and bring back their energy to experimenting on Nervous with hopes they could conclude these before the birth of the baby. At this same time, Loki found an unknown woman in the deserts of Strangetown, close to the path leading to their house. When he made sure she was okay, she told him that her name was Bella Goth, but that everything else was a giant blur. Intrigued by this, he took her home. Circe was not happy at first with this beautiful woman staying in their home, but when she heard her story from Loki, she smiled and realized that this was their chance to shine and impress Strangetown with their research.

When Jenson was born, Loki was thrilled with a son and immediately suggested a Scandinavian name like his own, to honor his family's roots. Circe agreed to this, as she hoped this would mean that Loki would enjoy spending time with Jenson more, so she could investigate whatever happened with Bella's memories. Her hopes seemed to have been coming true, as Loki was an amazing father figure for Jenson. He spend most of his time with him and even put his career on hold to teach him his various toddler skills.

Growing older, Jenson realizes that his home situation is rather unusual. Not many Sims in Strangetown have two unrelated Sims in their house. And very few of those people have a bedroom that is half the size of Jenson's. Nonetheless Jenson feels loved by his parents. When his mother is at work, his father spends time helping him with his homework or doing some school project. He quickly learns that his mother is always busy and it is always work related, but that that doesn't mean she loves him any less. His father helps him get into private school, and even helps him study even though he doesn't really like school that much. He notices that their roommate Bella slowly grows bigger and one day he sees her walking around with a small baby in her arms.

Even though Jenson asks a lot of questions about the things going on in the house, very little are answered. Jenson meets Nikto, Klatu and Lucifer in high school, but his parents advice him to not hang out with the three boys and avoid the green fever that has been hitting Strangetown. The three graduate only shortly after him entering anyway, so he let it go and didn't think much of it.

After graduating he is not sure what he wants to do with his life, and stays for some time with his parents. He decides he is in need of more adventures before he wants to find a partner and settle down, so he starts his career in the adventurer career. Here he meets young Sarah Curious, who is visiting one of his excursions with her class. Although she immediately stands out to him, he thinks that she is too young for him and turns her down when she asks for his phone number. This is the start of cat and mouse game that goes on for months, with the both of them attracting and denying each other.

When Sarah finally graduates high school, she asks Jenson out one more time and he finally agrees. They have a nice time, but Jenson is still not in a rush to start his family, as he is moving up the ladder in his career and sees that as more entertaining right now. It is only after months of dating that a slightly impatient Sarah asks what the two actually are doing right now. Still not getting the hint that Sarah wants something more than just casual lovemaking, Jenson earns himself one promotion after the other, having amazing adventures that take him further and further away from Strangetown. It is then that Sarah gives him an ultimatum; either they move in together or things are over between then. Realizing he does not want to lose her at all, he agrees and moves in with the Curious household.

Adulthood[edit | edit source]

With the relationship between Sarah and himself becoming more serious, his relationship with his parents is in decay. They do not approve of Jenson being involved with a Curious member, especially with one that possesses extraterrestrial genes in her system. Jenson laughs it off at first, but notices that especially his mother Circe pulls back whenever he tries to reach out. Whenever they visit his father Loki is cordial, but Jenson sees that Loki is not happy with their relationship. Stubborn like he is, Jenson commits to his relationship and tries to convince that Sarah is the only Sim for him and to not worry about two healthy human Sims being together.

When time progresses his parents seem a little bit more at ease and even more welcoming towards Sarah. When Jenson finally proposes to her, Loki and Circe even seem excited at first. But when invitations and details are discussed, it is obvious that the two want to stay far away from the alien family. This saddens Jenson, but he decides to choose for his wife Sarah and their family and will not cut any corners to make his parents feel more at ease. The wedding -although a little tense- turned out to be well received by most family members and Jenson was over the moon to finally start his family. The two did not have to wait long as Sarah announced her pregnancy a few months after the wedding.

Baby boy Lars was born not much later. Healthy, and with the same green skin as his grandfather. Jenson was worried about what his parents would say, as he had promised them a human Sim, but also realized that he wouldn't want Lars any other way and thought he was perfect the way he was. Like predicted his parents did not take the news very well, and were very little involved with Lars until their deaths. Jenson was disappointed by this, as he had hoped that his father Loki would have connected the same way with his son as he had had with him.

This was extra motivation for Jenson to give his boy all the love he could. He taught Lars how to walk and talk, and spend all of his time with him when he would not be at work. Sarah often joked that she could never come between her boys, even if she tried. The three were happy and enjoyed spending time together. Jenson was a great support for both Drew and Genesis Curious when they lost their baby, as well when Drew cheated on Genesis and married another woman. Sarah often called him "super dad", as he seemed to be able to do it all. He also takes pride into getting Lars into private school, as he knew this was important for Sarah and he family.

Elderhood[edit | edit source]

Growing older, "super dad" realizes that it simply isn't that easy anymore to combine work, parenting and his marriage as it used to be. He realizes that he has had enough adventures and decides to retire. His son Lars meets Mandy Grunt, a nice girl and the two fall in love. Even though he knows his little boy is grown up, he can't help but be protective of him when the two announce that they are going to get married. After the third degree, and Sarah slightly scolding him for his overprotectiveness, he is happy to see the sweet couple tying the not. When Mandy announces that she is expecting Jenson is overjoyed to be able to experience grandfather life, and bond with his grandson the way his father never did with Lars. When Lotus is born, Jenson spends most of his days spoiling the little guy. Unfortunately the two don't spend a lot of time together, as Jenson dies of old age when Lotus is a toddler.
