Summary

The whole story revolves around the accounts of a vampire from Bridgeport, Pierce VanPyre. The events of the story all build up to how all of the original vampires of Bridgeport have grouped together to destroy all of the vampires who have used their powers for evil, instead of good.

In all there are seventeen members of the group, all of them vampires (though Rafael was previously human). There were originally fourteen, but this changed when Leila VanPyre, Dunstan VanPyre, and Jessica Talon's fiancée Rafael Striker joined "The Good Ones" in the fifteenth edition of The Good Ones.
